LANDLORD and TENANT WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MAINTENANCE
As I was leaving home to work this morning my Co-tenant beaconed on me that I should come that my bathroom pipe is dropping water when we bath. I told him that I'm rushing that when I return I will take a look at it. Behold, when I return I found out that, the pipe from the kitchen and bathroom was cut as shown in the picture.
We are five flats in the compound and I live upstair.
My question is who is responsible for this kind of maintenance, please your reaction.

Guy, fix that shiit and move on.

The first week under the lockdown na so my landlord drop bag of rice for me and my neighbor doormouth.

It's an external work that if left unattended can adversely affect the structure/integrity of the building.

It is the primary responsibility of the landlord except where the tenancy agreement states otherwise.

Tenants are only responsible for internal repairs.

Take a look at your tenancy agreement if it makes any such provision. If not, invite your landlord.

It is the landlord. However you can fix it if you can after notifying him. Who knows it could lead to a rent cut down someday. Remember we gain more by being kind.

When you entered the house was it leaking or was it like that

Please go and repair it
,it is not the responsibility of the landlord .

When I moved into my house I did lots of repairs that should ordinarily have been done by the landlady before even putting the house for rent, my friend said I be mugu for doing it. But I moved on

If I tell you now say I don dey build my own house miraculously you won't believe. Even me sef never wake up from the dream say I don dey build house

So the buttom line is that when we do good it will surly come back to us
