You can always go to "windows old" to get your files back..
When your install a new OS, windows wraps up files of the previous windows and saves it in your local disk as "windows old..

Mac Computers dont come with or dont naturally use windows OS unless you are running it on a virtual software or you partition your hard disk and install windows.

So whatever be the case..
