It is important to pay close attention to High Flyers in our organization in order to keep them.

A High flyer is someone who does everything he does above the level that is generally expected and as a result of this, a High flyer tends to achieve more than the average person in every walk of life.

High-potential employees are an integral part of an organization's overall talent management strategy, it is imperative to put programs and processes in place to attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent.

One peculiar thing about these high fliers is that they seem to bring out solutions to problems very fast as though it was magic.

These people do not waste time thinking about problems but they go deep into finding solutions to those problems.

They believe that instead of thinking about the problem, they figure out a way to solve it. This is why they are often called high flyers.

A team of 5-star employees is able to produce 16 times the output of a team of five average players working individually.

Having this understanding a few tips will guide us in retaining them

👉Understand how they work and let them have their space.
👉Their motivating factors are different, find out what
👉Do not tolerate the laziness of other employees
👉Avoid Micromanaging them at all cost
👉Do not take credit for their work.
👉Create learning and growth opportunities
👉Open communication and a culture of constant feedback.
👉Mentorship planning, job rotation, and cross-functional training
👉 Do not promote or compensate when it is too late already.

The management must strive to live up to the expectations of retaining high flyers employees. Use data, focus groups, town hall meetings, and retreat to feel their pulse, we need them for business progression.

You see those of you that are lazy in your organizations and would not do anything but gossip I am not referring to you, just go and stand at the back of the queue. 😄 😂

E be like say you never jam high fliers with a bad or toxic attitude grin. There's no benefit in keeping them on for long, sooner or later they cost you more, in terms of human capital, because their nasty attitude causes other employees to leave.

When good employees leave and you constantly have to hire their replacement, because you don't want to cut lose the high flier, no be you go wound las las? The few times I have seen high fliers with a bad attitude, retired from an organisation (as in, sacked or told to resign) there was a collective sigh of relief, a sense of hope and peace that our shared workspace would be better without them.
