Because of the country's loose soil, that road was probably built on the desert sand.

This would have been prevented if the had drainage to channel the water running off the road.

Now the loose soil gave way leading to this collapse.

The difference is that they have now taken heavy rain fall into consideration in their future construction work since that was almost a rare occurrence there.

There is nothing they could do. No country can manage that level of flood.

Next time they will never think of cloud seeding in their parliament ever again. You can never mess with mother nature and go free.

A nightmare scenario from Armageddon. cheesy grin

Tbh, climate change is kicking butts worldwide. The most industrialized countries that are MAJORLY responsible the emissions of greenhouse gases have to take a decisive stance to stop those emissions and stop pussyfooting.

The world's oceans keep rising and last year (2023) cumulatively witnessed the hottest months ever in recent history and that trend has continued right into 2024!

yes you can. Once the lake chad gets depleted we will also need to turn to cloud seeding. UAE will make the necessary adjustments and move on.

They can’t have a drainage system because it’s a desert. The drains would be filled with sand within a day. That’s what you get when you try to build a city on sand.

Climate change poses a grave threat globally, and urgent action is imperative. Industrialized nations, including the UAE https://vm-properties.com/ , must decisively curb greenhouse gas emissions. Rising sea levels and record-breaking temperatures in recent years underscore the critical need for proactive measures to mitigate the effects of climate change.

This was like a wake up call to them. Drastic measures will be taken to avoid such occurrence again.

A far cry from this shit hole we are living in.
