Should I Involve The Police In This Matter? by Barims(m): 10:40pm On Apr 26
Behind our house, there's a church that disturbs the entire neighborhood every night with loud noise. Despite having only around 18 members and being located in an unfinished building, they use large speakers that cause significant noise pollution. I'm deeply concerned about my mom's health, as she suffers from both insomnia and hypertension. This constant disturbance prevents us from getting any rest at night. Can I get the police involved in this issue? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated. I reside in Osogbo, Osun State.

Yes, invite the law into the matter. It's public nuisance.

Take a legal action against them. Or take your own action against them.

You don't have to report them at the moment. Talk to the head pastor and sort the issue amicably.
God didn't send anyone to be a noise maker and disturb other people's health.

They are mad, report them ASAP, but before u do so, approach them and inform them, if they choose to continue, then report them, they purposely brings out giant speakers and direct it to your location that's why u guys feel the impact that much, they could get smaller speakers or take them.inside, they don't have any right to disturb you peoples peace.

If you are In abuja or lagos, police suppose don seal up the place since

Please don't hesitate to involve the necessary authorities, i am sure other people in the neighbourhood are disturbed as well. What is even their aim? Will the blasting speakers make people start coming to their church or what?

I disagree with you

The head pastor is not a child and he should understand what noise pollution is and what public nuisance is too

OP if I were in your shoe the must have been closed by now ... You can't be worshipping whatsoever God at the detriment of my peace

Report so they will take action
1. You're not sure if it's a church... but they make verrry loud noise through powerful speakers at nights.
2 They are in an abandoned building a d it's less than 20 of them total.

3. S
At least Teo nights you believe you heard loud screams and you became afraid... you don't know if the loud music is to drown out what's really goi g o inside. You believe something fishy is going g on in there.
