**Overview:**
The C3 Project is at the forefront of empowering Nigeria's youth and women by bridging the digital divide and enhancing employability through advanced IT skills. We are on the lookout for a dedicated Remote Software Engineer who will reside at our Lekki facility while contributing to software development projects that support both local and global needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Software Development:**
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet the needs of our projects and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality technology solutions.

- **Code Reviews and Maintenance:**
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, reliability, and scalability.
- Maintain and improve the performance of existing software.

- **Collaborative Project Management:**
- Collaborate with project managers and other software engineers in developing schedules and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute ideas for project innovation and efficiency.

- **Security and Compliance:**
- Adhere to best practices in coding standards and cybersecurity.
- Ensure all software is up to date with the latest security patches and features.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in software development with a strong portfolio of projects.
- Proficient in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or similar.
- Experience with front-end and back-end development, databases, and cloud services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Fluent in American English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
