The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers yesterday, 7th of May 2024 elected Dr. Shina Akeem Oyewale, FCS as the 2nd Vice President at the Institute’s Council Chambers. He takes over from Mrs. Fiona Ahimie, FCS who is now 1st Vice President of the Institute.

Akeem who is the Chief Executive Officer of Marble Capital Ltd is an Arthur Anderson scholar and has over 20 years of experience in Investment Banking, Credit Marketing, Trade Finance, and Sustainable Finance. He was CEO Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited and Stanbic IBTC Nominees Limited.

Akeem is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and a Member of the Institute of Directors.

He has a Doctorate Degree from the Da Vinci School of Business Leadership, an MBA from Manchester Business School, United Kingdom, and a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos.
