In answering your question, it is wrong and unchristlike for xtians to form militias to combat them.

There is no way u can defend yourself from these wicked beasts called boko haram.The only way is for u to leave north and come to south,whether u are from south or not,just come or u are to ready to die

Hi pastorkun have been fine thank you. Actually have concluded the course with an article on why xtians shouldn't pay tithes. On defending themselves i disagree on it being unchristian like to fight back if someone tries to kill me it's no sin to fight back to stay alive. There has to be a way to keep xtians in the north alive if they wish to stay there Nigeria belongs to everybody and boko haram has no right to dictate to others where they should reside or to even impose their religious beliefs on others. An eye for an eye may be unchristian like but tell that to hamas, al qaeda and hezbollah they know they have to be careful when picking their victims. Why not extend it boko haram?

I have not said christians should not defend themselves when attacked, it is the idea of setting up a militia I refer to as being unchristian. Once a militia has been set up, there would be issues of counter attacks and reprisal attacks which is contrary to christ's teachings. If we go back in to history, the crusaders started of as a militia to 'defend' themselves and they ended up becoming terrorists themselves. As christians we ought to be very careful the way we respond persecution.
