I know this topic has been treated before, but i cant help bringing it up again cos this was one really crazy topic in class today. It is hard to pick out a winner of the greatest inventor of all time. Also for some inventions we don't know who was the first person to invent it. For example, fire, the wheel, a boat. All these are marvellous and essential inventions that could have been invented by anyone. Top on the list of arguments were thomas edison, galileo, alexander graham bell, the wright brothers, henry ford, charles babbage. There were a host of other important inventors discussed. So, who is the greatest inventor? |

Forget Einstein. . . Great inventions though, but Not everybody goes or wanna go nuclear. Faraday invented something for the basic human need that changed the world. . . ELECTRICITY! Thats a lifetime gift that permeates every corner of the world and makes life more BLISSFUL. Thanks. |

Akby: Albert Einsitein pionered the nuclear world and lot of inventory as well... Go google it dude The only thing Albert Einstein invented was half of a fridge. Google it! His other achievements were not inventions. |

Hw abt aristotle the father of wisdom and thoughts! well, op said inventors, so unless he wants to throw the floor open to accomodate The Greatest Thinkers of all time. From the examples op gave sef, i was expecting to compare the inventions (eg phone vs computer) and not the inventors themselves (bell vs babbage). Anywayz, op knows best! |
