The Central Bank’s document on Soludo’s service indicates that he won the Global and African Central Bank Governor of the Year, in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Different international media institutions, including The Banker Magazine published by the Financial Times of London, gave him the awards.

one could also argue that these same factors allow some to over-inflate the capacity and abilities of their own. To me Soludo is nothing special particularly when compared to renown ibo intellectuals. Compared to them....he is a lightweight....but in the country of the blind ......especially compared to the like of Andy uba, and that Maduka fellow. The truth is the brightest Ibo brains dont get involved in politics anymore. .I have never understood the obsession with Soludo and the pedestal he is placed upon, he is very average.

Professor Soludo is damn too much for this post he's vying for. He supposed to be contesting as the President of Nigeria and not mere state governor....he's over qualify for that post of a state governor and even too decent to be listed among those rogas of politicians vying for governorship of that state.... I wish we were bestowed with a quality of Soludo anticedent during 2015 election instead of this illiterate ragamuffin of a Fulani terrorist......

If the November 6th election is free and fair, Ozigbo or Soludo will win but if the criminal IPOB carry their threats of the situation at home order then Uba will win because there will be voters apathy. The voters apathy will encourage rigging which will favour the APC candidate.

Appreciate Your People Abeg. Ibos are so fond of destroying one another than any other tribe. Self destruction and hatred of your kinsmen ain't good......please stop it....also note that in all regions of Nigeria, the smartest and the best hardly get involved in Nigeria politics. I have lots of good, decent Hausa Fulani men, lots of upright and solid Yorubas and wonderful genius of Ibos extraction but they will never venture into politics no matter the appeal made to lure them in....it's their policy and can't force it or you loose their friendship with you......

If elections are won by the most qualified, Dr. George Moghalu would have been the president of Nigeria in 2015. But one Buhari who has no qualifications beside being a soldier and cattle rearer was sworn in. I am from Anambra State and reside there, but I won't be so surprised if Andy Uba is declared winner. Nothing surprises me again in Nigeria.

I can definitely agree to this, he as proven his mettle at the CBN and does not need propaganda like the criminal bastard Peter Obi foolish Igbos are trying to force down our throat.
