With the high rate of unemployment, decreasing standard of living, increasing maternal mortality as a result of high cost of accessing health care and dwindling foreign reserves. Should abortion be a means of controlling the rapid growth of our population. As its estimated that we are currently 206 million Nigerians with only a fraction who are gainfully employed.

Why do you feel so?

Everyone is doing it even some mothers at home why not just stop being an hypocrite and legalize it. The other day I was just listening to some women (old married ladies) talking about how many they remove before and after marriage, I just conclude that Africans are hypocrite.
Just legalize it so it become a choice and people who want to do it will meet the right doctors instead of being a guinea pig in the hands of quack doctors.
Personally I don't support abortion, with the way terrorist, rapists, thieves and scammers are getting out of hands I think they should have been aborted.
And we should stop looking everything religiously and use our common sense.

I have reasoned along this same lines too..the bandits,kidnappers, terrorists na person born them.probably the person no fit train dem.

Nigeria is a very religious country..but why then do we have division, nepotism, favouritism, feudalism, bribery and theft at such a grand scale. We should be among the most developed nation in the world..see as people avoided the topic.. let's continue deceiving ourselves.
