A lot of you don't understand and differentiate the difference between UEFA AND FIFA.
UEFA deals with clubs performance precisely champions league while FIFA deals with country's performance that is the reason joginho was the UEFA player of the years due to champions league and mercy won it Ballon d'or due to country's performance which may eventually also give him the FIFA player of the year.
