Just recently, there is a convention talk by one of their Governing body. Their leader said Babies, including JW babies, are enemies of God. Now, I expect a sane person to be shocked by that statement, especially Parents! Enemy is a strong word to use and we all know what happens to an Enemy of God. Who in their right mind will agree with such statement? Even if your leader says such, you will rebuke it immediately! Mad MaxInDHouse says he agrees with that statement. That's a JW response. I asked him But Babies cannot make decisions, God has never declared them enemies and Jesus says Babies are actually examples for we who want to inherit the Kingdom of God. Does that mean Jesus was wrong to say all that if truly Babies are enemies of God? He completely disregarded the words of Jesus! I also asked him, if your wife puts to bed and you get visitors that see your baby and say "Look at this little enemy of God", will he accept that wholeheartedly? He kept mute. He refused to answer! This is what it is like as a JW. Their leaders demand Blind obedience in matters that do not make sense from a human standpoint. They demand Obedience in all things! Do you know the implications of saying Babies are enemies of God? They are trying to detach the parent and child bond. This is a dangerous teaching and should be a Red flag to anyone sane!
