stop quoting me with this nonsense, i gave you verifiable figures for a 725km project.
Even the 323km Tangiers-Casablanca rail high speed project cost $2.4bn , with high speed train so while will a light rail of just 27km distance cost $1.8bn ?

Hang on !

Tangier’s to Casablanca is pure desert

Lagos Red line is intercity Rail like in Lahore

27 Km of built up Area would need to have been demolished and the building and Business owners

fully Compensated before the Railway. Could have been built

that is apart from Lagos being a Waterlogged Marsh where numerous bridges would have been

built along the route,

If 27 Km of Railway cost only $181Million then why haven’t Your south East Governors built you one between Onitsha and Enugu yet?

The Lahore Pakistan light railway cost the same as the one in Lagos $1.6 Billion and is 27 Km same as the one in Lagos

It is quite unfortunate that while Other Nigerians are tired of the political status quo and the conditions of our economy, we still have people who will rather we remain the way we are if it will guaranty their candidate wining the 2023 election even though their preferred candidate is not not physically and mentally fit as a result of old age.....

Secondly, the way they are trying extremely hard to sale Peter Obi as an Ipob apologist or a tribal candidate is honestly shameful and an act of desperation especially as he is a structureless candidate.

While other political party supporters are selling their candidates to Nigerians, the supporters of a political party are busy looking for ways to sell propaganda and tribalism.

Their supporters are trying to convince people the he Peter Obi is not fit to be president of Nigeria.

Not because he is corrupt.
Not because he is unqualified.
Not because he incapable.

But simply because he is an IGBO MAN.

To them the igbos represents everything they love to hate.

To them it is better THEY Remain in perpetual hardship and poverty than to give an igbo man a chance to be a president of Nigeria even if that igbo man is the right candidate for the job...

Personally I want Peter Obi to lose. Not because he is not a better option, but because Nigerians don't deserve someone like him.. We deserve the type of leaders we have been getting and will continue getting until we a truly ready for positive change.

One thing I know for sure is that When a cup of garri becomes 1k tomorrow, as a result of us electing bad leaders out of sentiments, an average igbo man will still have a higher purchasing power than the rest and the business men will likely still benefits from the high dollar rate.

So for those of you that plan to mock/laugh at those that will lose the general election, just have it in mind that we are all going to bear the consequences of our actions or inactions after 2023 election.

Las las na all of us go hear am since our mumu never do.

Stop being childish, how can you sit in your bedroom and say who is from the east and who is not ?
My 7th generation has lived in Lagos dating back to 1855, we Edo people were in Lagos before the Yorubas so when discussing anything that has to do with Lagos dont even toll that tribal route, you're probably not born in Lagos and you sit somewhere in the comfort of your room to lay claim to Lagos .

With that said I drive through the Lagos/Badagry expressway often as I have properties on that route so when you keep emphasising on many bridges can you point ou to where the bridges are, aside Mile2 , Orile and Iyana-Iba which where erected for ease of traffic and bus stop and not necessarily because of water. The only bridge done because of water is the Island axis of the rail track .

Another question is the Pakistan project when was it awarded and how long did it take to completion ?

Lagos rail project was signed by Tinubu in 2001, and thats how many years ?

Everyone in Nigeria knows that politicians over-inflate cost of contracts, I know how much my friend who is a contractor spend in settling just to get contracts where politicians will still demand to have 30% of the contract value.

Yorubas were in Lagos in the 10th Century when Oduduwa sent the Owa Obokun to fetch him water from the Sea to cure his blindness

Oranmiyan the first Oba of Benin had not yet been born

Have you ever in your life seen Oba of Benin dragging Lagos with the Yorubas?

You have proven you are not Edo
No Edo Person would ever call the History of Oranmiyan the first Oba of Benin bullcrap , impossible

I can Teach you the History of Lagos

You Probably don't know that the Ijebu got to Lagos well before the Awori
but it was the Awori that took possession of Lagos Island and it's Mainland

The Ijebu were already living on the Coast of Lagos well before the 10th Century

The Awori migrated from Ile Ife in the 12 Century
But the Ijebu were the ancient Aborigines of the Land who later adopted an Ife Prince as their King
So you can see clearly that Benin's Chances of Claiming Lagos are Nil

Many Ijebu Communities will tell you that their Ancestors have been there since Father Noah Stepped out of the Ark after God wiped out the Earth through the Great Flood

I am not Joking the early Ijebu Communities will actually tell you that their forefathers settled there after surviving the Great Flood that wiped out the Earth (Noah's flood) and they don't even know that it is in the Bible

Is it those ones that the Benin will try dragging Lagos with?

Ijebu Territory starts from Victoria Island and Lekki, and it includes Sogunle

If the Ijebu that were already in Lagos in the 10th Century are not dragging Lagos with the Awori then how can the Edo's that didn't reach Lagos until over 500 years when the Awori permitted them to have a Trading post on Lagos Island be dragging Lagos

Mind you the Oba of Lagos is an Awori man right from the first Oba who was the Ashipa of Isheri

You see how the Oba of Benin has kept a very dignified Silence

It is because he knows the History well

If the Awori had refused to Lay Claim to Lagos it would have automatically been part of Ijebuland because the Ijebu would rightly have laid Claim to it as the Ancient Aborigines of the Territory

The Benin are not even in the Picture at all or do you think the Benin will be dragging Lagos with the Ijebu that were already living there practically since God Created the Earth and Mankind

Now back to the Railway, Jonathan held up the Construction of the Railway by refusing to grant Lagos the necessary permission but Buhari gave all the necessary cooperation for it to come to fruition
