Why not ship it? 2 Likes |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by MrBrownJay1(m): 6:44pm On Mar 27, 2023 |
i would advise you to ship it and wouldnt recommend anyone to take such item (that could be filled with illegal substances) for all we know. |

Blackdeewhy: OP sounds dodgy. |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by richardakindele: 3:44pm On Mar 28, 2023 |
MrBrownJay1: You're right, shipping is an option, but: 1. Shipping is a lot more expensive to ship. 2. Shipping will take a long time to arrive and clear customs. Sometimes, 3+ months, and could even arrive damaged. Now compare 3 months to 3 days if someone traveling helps carry it for me. MrBrownJay1: Not at all. The item will be purchased on ebay, and delivered direct by the ebay vendor to the person. Besides, do you know the implication of messing with illegal substances in the USA? Long prison time. One of the problems Nigerians have is the issue of trust. Everyday things that occur elsewhere, is viewed with utter suspicion in Nigeria. This is retarding the progress of the people. What needs to be done to change this? |

1Sharon: It's just a simple request. Nothing dodgy about it. |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by MrBrownJay1(m): 4:34pm On Mar 28, 2023 |
richardakindele: true... but shipping is SAFER to the total stranger who doesnt know you and wouldnt know whats "possibly" hidden inside that 10kg submersible pump. Not at all. A) vendor could be in on it, even if the item is bought directly from manufacturer (let alone From EBAY, of all places lol!) B) many people gladly mess with illegal substances in the US, due to the amount of money involved in it. C) if you contact someone online and will send them something by mail to bring to you, then they have ABSOLUTELY no way to prove who you are....and unless you go with that person to the airport and tell the airline that the item is yours and only yours, i wouldnt advise anyone to do it. D) many criminals gladly use unsuspecting people to do their illegal deeds... havent you heard of Schapelle Corby, the Australian girl who was asked by a friend to bring a surf board to Indonesia that, unknowing to her, was filled with illegal substances. SHE spent 9yrs in jail for being a "good" unsuspecting friend. so if friends can be that evil, i can believe that total strangers will be worse. E) stop writing rubbish online, even elsewhere, NOBODY will travel with a total stranger's stuff...THATS WHY THE AIRLINES ALWAYS ASK YOU IF YOU PACK YOUR BAGS YOURSELF before accepting your check-in luggages. so many idiot around the world are languishing in jail today because they accepted total strangers bags. only a very ignorant OR desperate person would accept the stuff of a total stranger, that could be filled with illegal substances. 1 Like |

Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by studyless123: 5:29pm On Mar 28, 2023 |
richardakindele: It's easier if you reach out to a friend you have in the US. Another option is to get a pump in Nigeria and take your time to ship the foreign pump. It's cheaper to ship the item than travel with it. |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by richardakindele: 7:35pm On Mar 29, 2023 |
studyless123: You think I haven't thought of that already? studyless123: I know I can get it in Nigeria. But how much do you think a Solar pump costs in Nigeria? A solar pump, is not the same as the AC pumps everybody uses. Solar pumps are expensive in Nigeria, mainly because it's not used by many. studyless123: Who says it's cheaper? Well, maybe shipping by sea. But definitely not by air. Try flying 10kg from the US to Nigeria. |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by richardakindele: 7:36pm On Mar 29, 2023 |
Bnaira7: This is just a stupid comment. Since when did people start carrying drugs from the USA to Nigeria? You people need to think before you post idiotic comments. |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by richardakindele: 7:40pm On Mar 29, 2023 |
MrBrownJay1: What is an example of something the vendor could be in on? I mean, what is typically trafficked illegally from the USA to Nigeria? Isn't it the other way around, where people try to bring stuff from Nigeria to the USA? I didn't bother to read the rest of the post, because i know it's all conspiracy theories. |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by richardakindele: 7:44pm On Mar 29, 2023 |
Anyway, thank you all for all the answers, even as unhelpful as they are. |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by MrBrownJay1(m): 7:56pm On Mar 29, 2023 |
richardakindele: does Nigeria produce illegal drugs? why do you think there are so many drug addicted Nigerians using drugs? isnt Mexico (drug manufacturing country) right next to the USA? anything you buy on EBay can be filled with illegal substances such as meth/Fentanyl/tramadol etc straight from Mexico to Nigeria (via the US). could also be fake documents, fake checks, fake money... you name it! furthermore, isnt cheaper to ship that thing from China??!?! your story makes NO DAMN SENSE!!!!! better yet, listen, why dont you find one of your family member to bring it for you...or a family friend, instead of total stranger? your story make no sense! 1 Like |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by studyless123: 10:08pm On Mar 29, 2023 |
richardakindele: It's cheaper sir and I mean by air. Anyone travelling from US to Nigeria has a full luggage and would be paying additional fees to transport your product. The amount is more than what you will logistics company to transport the device for you. There are many logistics companies in the US that can easily handle that. Address the device to them and they will forward it to you. |

Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by richardakindele: 9:05am On Apr 02, 2023 |
studyless123:Yes. What is the issue with additional fees? studyless123:How much? And through which company? studyless123:Recommend some, and the cost of air freight. Weight: 10kg Dimensions: 13in x 12in x 12in |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by omotodun1(m): 1:30pm On Apr 02, 2023 |
richardakindele: I don't understand why you are acting deranged. You claimed that no one moves drugs from the US to Naija and I posted a simple example. |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by studyless123: 7:55pm On Apr 02, 2023 |
richardakindele: It's more expensive. I've made that point, several times. Obviously you haven't done any research.
Make use of Google. Chat up 3 or more companies and you'll get quotes. |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by richardakindele: 8:58pm On Apr 06, 2023 |
studyless123: I'm asking you that has done the research to furnish me the info. I have done my research, and I know what you're saying is incorrect. So my question to you still stands. |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by richardakindele: 9:01pm On Apr 06, 2023 |
omotodun1: Deranged? Do you know the meaning of the words you use. Don't use words you don't know the meaning of, else someone might think you're deranged. omotodun1: You did post and an example. And I asked how you think marijuana will fit in a tiny pipe of submersible pump. |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by richardakindele: 9:17pm On Apr 06, 2023 |
MrBrownJay1: Order for pump won't be placed from Mexico. You're changing the subject to suit your argument. That is called trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. MrBrownJay1: I doubt it, since I never mentioned placing order from Mexico to Nigeria. I mentioned order in the USA. You're going off on a tangent. MrBrownJay1: What is the cost of shipping 10kg from China to Nigeria? And how long does it take to go through customs, and to be delivered? Besides, did I say I was purchasing a Chinese pump? MrBrownJay1: Common sense dictates that it is the first option one would think of. None of what you wrote makes any sense. Merely grasping at straws. Temper your aggression, and start reasoning. You're not smarter than everybody. |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by MrBrownJay1(m): 9:26pm On Apr 06, 2023 |
richardakindele: most drugs in the US easily enter the country via Mexican border, FACT!!! anything shipped from an individual in the US, can be filled with these illegal drugs. FACT!!! What is the cost of shipping 10kg from China to Nigeria? And how long does it take to go through customs, and to be delivered? what about the cost of "possibly" getting caught with "possible" illegal drugs of a total stranger?! Common sense dictates that it is the first option one would think of. the 1st option only benefits YOU... taking the 10kg machine of a total stranger through international custom only benefits YOU None of what you wrote makes any sense. Merely grasping at straws. i am sorry if dont like my replies but what you are asking is not only CRAZY, its UTTER MADNESS!!!! ...and the obvious reason why most airline ask you if you packed your own bags before check-in! |
Re: Traveling To Nigeria From The USA by omotodun1(m): 1:37pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
richardakindele: I can see that you are ill-educated. If someone used a word that they do not understand, that makes them ignorant, not deranged. It is funny that you did not see the first post I made on this topic wherein I offered to bring the pump to Nigeria since I will be coming in August. But your stubbornness and desire to be right got in the way. Also, it is easy to fit lots of marijuana in that thing. Marijuana is extremely light and I can easily fit 1 pound inside. Your pump even weighs a whooping 10 Kg, which is about 22 lbs. |
