They keep comparing internal security to external war Gen Tukur burutai is Kanuri from NorthEast same as Boko Haram members he can not use maximum lethal force on his own people in his own land Going to war with Niger would be like Seria Leone and Liberia... It's maximum force . 2 Likes |

I was watching some Hausa clips on Facebook yesterday. The Niger citizens blasting BAT and Nigerians. The Sahel is a lawless territory full of tribal warlords, a little insight of what is happening in Sudan will tell you that Nigerian soldiers are been prepared for butcher. The desert it self is very harsh 1 Like 1 Share |

Leave them, na jealousy dey wire them. We're too big for them. So, this is the only opportunity they have to air their jealousy. Boko haram cannot stand our military and if allowed, would be wiped out of Nigeria in one week. Boko haram is politicised, the current COAS nearly spill the beans when he publicly asked state northern governors to allow them fight those terrorists which includes bandits. As for this Niger Republic war, Nigerian military can handle it. But I wouldn't advise Tinubu to go that route. 2 Likes 1 Share |

WorldRichest:Lol. War is not like that o, boss. It's not a soccer where you play 90 minutes with referee without interference. Have u considered ally? What is our interest? Are we being used by our own ally or we are partners protecting our individual interests? 8 Likes |

phorget:No. I mean all these insurgent groups from the North to the South may take advantage of that to recoup and attack. Remember Russia will do anything to distract Nigeria from Niger. And our military is already "stretched out" like they say. 7 Likes |

The drug baron has brought great disgrace to Nigeria. Economic policies....zero Foreign policies........zero Now he wants to declare war on a sovereign nation just to get legitimacy by the use of force If Tinubu was an upright statesman with a track record of excellence, the uprising in Niger would have been history. |
Re: NIGERIA/NIGER WAR: Perception About Nigeria. by XAUBulls: 8:03pm On Aug 25, 2023 |
nisai:Indeed @Nisai It's the crazy Islamist insurgents operating in the low-income Sahelian countries of Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, etc, one should even more concerned about. An invasion of Niger will destroy badly needed weapons and weaken the Niger military, so the multinational African forces led by Nigeria would in the mean time have to do the job of providing security and then fighting the Islamist insurgents operating in Niger. Good thing though that the topmost Wagner group mercenary leadership is out of the way from that plane crash in Russia which no doubt has the hands of the Kremlin in it. Vladimir Putin himself had earlier condemned the military coup in Niger. He would indeed want to have a robust economic and diplomatic relationship with Nigeria and other bigger African nations tbh. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

It's not a war. I don't know why ignorant people are pushing this propaganda. It's going to be a dislodging operation that won't even take more than 1 week, if Ecowas plays their game well. It happened in Sierra Leone in 1998, Ivory Coast in 2011 and Gambia in 2017. This is NOT new. 1 Like |

RenaissanceGuy:Three countries are going to declare war on ECOWAS very soon and ur screaming propaganda up and down Also Gambia is such a small country that even Senegal can handle it even the army didn't want to fight Sierra Leone was fighting rebels same with ivory coast This will be the first full invasion against another country with full power |
