Nigeria tops the list of countries with the highest rate of unemployment, according to the latest statistics released by the World of Statistics. Nigeria led with 33.3 per cent.....Too sad for Nigeria-the so called giant of Africa. The clueless, inept and economically deficient government the APC ran have heightened our unemployment rating even catapulting us to the leading the pack in addition to the infamous & inglorious world's headquarters of extreme poverty award they have already won for us. It is not an irony of event that a fraudulent president imposed on a nation is the one going to teach a Niger Republic that, though not having a GDP as Nigeria has a more less unemployment index, to teach them the tenets of what democracy is about? Abeg make this present crop of irresponsible leaders hide their heads in shame and disgrace. 10 Likes |

WorldRichest: It may be true Nigeriens are begging but why is Nigeria now wanting to play the big brother role for them when it has long won the world's headquarters for extreme poverty award to itself? Are you not ashame for your country? 3 Likes |

It's interesting that nations like Niger which are condescendingly regarded as poor nations have incredibly lower unemployment rates than the "Giant" of Africa. I know many of you sycophants will always bring forth the stupid and overused "Population" excuse (y'all need better excuses), but this nation is nowhere close to the population of some advanced nations. The nation is simply deficient in strategic and progressive leadership... And, you citizens need to get off your high horses and learn skills. Formal employment (White collar jobs) will continue to decrease as we progress along. Our leaders should seriously engage with the youth population and create accessibility to soft loans for small and medium-scale startups. 4 Likes 1 Share |

This is contrary to publicly available evidence that rising costs of operating has forced businesses to place a freeze on hiring. Also, the PWC report referenced in the video below states that unemployment will rise to 40% in 2023. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdbg7Xqg1cQ Anyway, let's see how the job market holds up by year's end. |

WorldRichest: Nice. As interesting as this statistic sounds, it seem to be an emotional reaction rather than a logical one Please enlighten us on how you identify Nigeriens amongst others the moment you see them, compared to other nationals. This is assuming you come face to face with a random beggar on the street. 1 Like |
