I am not so sure this your news is correct. Pastor Bimbo that I remember so well was buried in Victoria Court Cemetary. But the write up states he was buried in Ikoyi cemetary beside his wife Bimbo. Please be sure of your facts.

You see why it is good to have the spirit of discernment in you as a christian? (mind you, I'm only talking to christians here) I remember when we heard of late Bimbo's demise back then.

Consider this for a minute...just a minute. Why would a pastor's wife die in an airplane crash like a godless unbeliever would? No premonition to that event? No daily communication with her God?
It begs for a sincere answer.

Now, her husband is dead.
Scriptures tell us that if you are truly born again, the world would hate you, actively (take not of that word used)persecute you. Consider the disciples, prophets of the ancient world, and their stories.
Nollywood celebs...And so? Even if his son is an actor. Wonder why they had to upload those pictures of celebs on purpose . To prove what point? That alone tells a person who discerns falsehood easily that there was a glaring ' comma ' in that man's church.
If people just go to your church weekly and the church-going isn't changing the way they think and act, and the Pastor on the pulpit doesn't see the need to be concerned about that, then his or her ministry is questionable. You are meant to be a servant. Interceding through intercessory prayers, day and night for the lost /unsaved. When you don't care, but only care about the revenue your church is making every week, then you are not a true servant of God. You are disguising.

Stop being spiritually blind, people! Let's not be afraid or ashamed to call a spade a spade as far as the body of Christ is concerned (chistians will understand better, the usage of that metaphor).
The servants of God in the stories we grew up reading in the bible were never ashamed, and were not cowardly. You too shouldn't be!

When a vast majority of the world accepts you comfortably as a pastor, then something is wrong somewhere. The world cannot be comfortable with your exploits for God. Unless you had none Then who was it who ' called you ' to ministry for all these years? Hmm...

John 15:18-20 comes in handy.
" 15 Verses 18 to 20. [18] "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. [19] If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you "

22: You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 23 When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another.

You don't necessarily always hate the messenger. It is the message you hate.
Discard the messenger, don't discard the message.
Don't study the messenger. Study the message to see if it bears forth truth.
The messenger may be compromised, but the message can not be compromised. For God's words are yea and Amen. They are life.

Bury a man in a simple way. All the razzmatazz, glits and glamour do not matter anymore. No fanfare is needed. Especially for a so-called pastor of the Word Of God. If i say my mind now, some of you will come to attack my comment, but i just have to spill it out.
He may have been a freemason member. Many of them founded churches in an out of this country. Just like their western counterparts.

Remember, true men of God don't die in ridiculous ways. They die for the sake of the gospel. Not in freak accidents. Not in airplane crashes, road accidents, lion mauling him or her to death (when they try to test God), long-term illness spanning years, etc...


Kiss the truth. Don't attack without searching your conscience thoroughly.
