Add Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa to the announcement.

That is a balance because Lagos is a state that has all the tribes living inside of it

Is Lagos state an hausa or igbo state?

Do they announce time arrival and departure in yoruba at the lagos Airport... these guys are too tribalistic
Lagos Airport don't belong to state. So we can't expect same thing.

And yes we're tribal.

Nigeria my country. Must we attach tribal sentiment to everything? Instead of initiating good policies and programs that will transform the lives of the local people, they are going after less important issues.

Sharap.

At Enugu Airport, public address is made in both English and Ibo.

Why should Lagos state not be allowed to promote their language in their public funded space ?

I SPEAK YORUBA BUT IT DONT MAKE ME YORUBA.

THEY SHOULD SPREAD THE LANGUAGE SO EVERYBODY WILL LEARN IT, THEN , WHEN THEY ARE TALKING, WE WILL ALL KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SAYING.

HOWEVER, WHEN WE SPEAK OUR OWN, THEM NO GO HEAR.

FOOLS! grin

Like why would lamata need to be told that?

It's literally the sensible thing to do. You use Yoruba first and translate it to English.

And whatever gave you the idea that Yorubas want one Nigeria?

Were the igbos not the one that created this mess called one Nigeria out of greed?
Are they not the ones scattered everywhere in Nigeria today enjoying the one Nigeria they created?

THEY ARE SO DESPERATE TO CLAIM THE CITY OF LAGOSAS BELONGING TO YORUBA THAT THEY ARE NO LONGER IN CONTROL OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

LET ME HELP HERE A LITTLE, MAKE A NEW LAW THAT EVERYBODY IN LAGOS THAT IOS NOT YORUBA SHOULD APPLY FOR PERMIT AND THEN, THE PERMIT SHOULD RANGE FROM 6 MONTHS TO 5 YEARS AND INDEFINITE.

THEN, DEPORT ANYBODY WIUTHOUT PERMIT.

ALSO, TELL THEM TO HAVE AT LEAST 1 YORUBA NAME.

MAD PEOPLE, KEEP FOCUSING ON LAGOS, DONT GO BACK TO IBADAN.

LAST, LAST, UNA GO LEARN THAT AS LONG AS NIGERIA EXIST, LAGOS IS NO MAN'S LAND. grin

IF U LIKE NAME EVERY STREET YORUBA.

SPEAK YORUBA TILL YOU ARE BLUE IN THE FACE.

THE BEST YOU WILL ACHIEVE IS EVERYBODY BORN THERE, KNOWING WHAT YOU ARE SAYING AND EVEN SPEAKING THE LANGUAGE TO DECIEVE YOU.

IT WONT MAKE THEM YORUBA AND YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY SAY, WHEN THEY SPEAK THEIR OWN NATIVE LANGUAGE.

YOU STILL REMAIN THE BIGGEST LOSER.

One thing I love about the Yorubas and Hausas is their love for their language.
Most Igbos don't value the language, many even scold their children for speaking the language and its very laughable.
How can one think his language is inferior? You are teaching your children/wards English while yours is fading into oblivion and you have no problem with that.
Over 70% of the Igbos can't converse in the language for 5 minutes without 'and, the, but, guy, and a whole lot of others' but a Yoruba can speak for hours without any trace of 'but, and'.
