Welcome to Afromnia and here are the Top 10 Most Hated Characters in Nollywood. 1. Mama Gee: There's a running joke that Mama G resorts to poisoning the food of those she wishes to harm. As mentioned earlier, Patience Ozokwor (Mama Gee) embraced the typecast, excelling in roles as the quintessential evil mother-in-law and mother. Despite not facing the same physical threats as Iya Gbonkan, her numerous film productions convinced many that she was genuinely wicked. 2. Iya Gbonkan - Koto Aye Franchise: Margaret Bandele Olayinka, who portrayed Iya Gbonkan in the Koto Aye series, faced both physical threats and public shaming due to her ruthless character. Iya Gbonkan's wickedness knew no bounds, with minor insults leading to fatal consequences, and shocking scenes like her being caught consuming a man's private part. 3. Chinwetalu Agu: In the early days of Nollywood, actors were often typecast, and Chinwetalu Agu was no exception. His roles were crafted around his villainous persona, solidifying his place as a renowned antagonist. 4. Depends on the generation of nollywood movies. Zach orji should be among the most hated, he always sacrificed Francis duru for blood money rituals . Chiwetalu agu for land matters, Tony umez got hated after the movie "died wretched" |
