Re: closed by Johnjustice: 1:34pm On Mar 27 |
Wainey:Imagine when Nigeria join BRICS, our dollar demand will drop by 30%, as we will import in other currency not dollar. Imagine when Dangote start supplying full capacity, our dollar demand will reduce by another 30%. Imagine when we start selling oil in naira internationally via Dangote refinery, dollar demand will plummet to 20% to what it is now. Once the demand plummet to this level, dollar will sell for N200. 2 Likes |

Obiedun:Spread this news, so wise ones don't loose. America government will not sit down and watch it's currency hoarded, laundered and manipulated by Nigerians, it will act. |
Re: closed by Wainey: 1:42pm On Mar 27 |
Johnjustice:ya, those factors will play a role but right now, if things remain as it is, naira won't go pass 700. |
Re: closed by Johnjustice: 1:43pm On Mar 27 |
Nigerians spread this good news...our naira must be strong again. buy nigerian goods, holiday in nigeria, spend in naira. |

Johnjustice:American govt won't do anything if someone decides to save money in raw cash |
Re: closed by Johnjustice: 1:44pm On Mar 27 |
Wainey:It's money laundering and currency hoarding, saving money in your cupboard, under your bed etc...it is currency abuse. |
Re: closed by Wainey: 1:48pm On Mar 27 |
Johnjustice:it is never currency abuse. Who tell u that kind news? So if I decide to have raw cash of N50m at home, it means I am abusing the currency? Nobody is mandated by the law to keep money in bank, if you think it's safer in your cupboard, u can keep it there. Banks will not give u raw cash if it's illegal to save it |

Na 2day i belive what obidients have been saying (that there alot of paid APC boys on NL) How can this news sound true to any reasonable person with working brain. |
Re: closed by Johnjustice: 1:52pm On Mar 27 |
Wainey:It's money laundering, listen and learn... money must be passed through financial institutions and declared... otherwise they will suspect you are engaging in illegal activity. |
Re: closed by immortalcrown(m): 2:17pm On Mar 27 |
What does changing Dollar denomination mean in this case? |
Re: closed by Wainey: 2:28pm On Mar 27 |
Johnjustice:Oga, it's never money laundry. The money didn't pass through illegal means. Someone withdraw money and dropped it at home and you feel it's illegal? |
Re: closed by Johnjustice: 2:42pm On Mar 27 |
Wainey:What about hoarding of a foreign currency and spending of dollars in Nigeria? When we have our legal tender as naira. Is currency speculation to the detriment of our naira a moral or patriotic act? Our constitution and nation obliges us to be patriots. |
Re: closed by Johnjustice: 2:44pm On Mar 27 |
immortalcrown:Changing the bills, due to hoarding and abuse. |
Re: closed by Wainey: 3:46pm On Mar 27 |
Johnjustice:it's still not a crime. Watch Australia border security on DStv, and you will see foreigners entering Australia with different currencies, some entered with their own currencies while others entered with Australian currency. the govt didn't stop them. There is no crime in having foreign currency. Nobody will harrass you cos u have USD or yuan or Rand in Nigeria. Even the politicians shared USD in the last election, America didn't question them |
Re: closed by Johnjustice: 3:53pm On Mar 27 |
Wainey:It's a crime to spend foreign currency when you have your national currency as legal tender...when you are going into Australia, you can't be with naira, you must have Australian currency. Stop talking off point. |
Re: closed by Wainey: 4:06pm On Mar 27 |
Johnjustice:the USD is a universal currency that is used as a legal tender all over the world, even when there is a trade between Nigeria and SA, we don't use the Naira or the Rand, what we use is the USD, so it's never a crime spending USD in Nigeria. And yes, you can go to Australia with Naira, the problem is that u might no see where to change it, but nobody will seize it from you just because you have a few millions of naira in your disposal, though there is a particular amount that will make the security investigate you and ask you questions, if you could answer without any problem, they will let you go |
Re: closed by Johnjustice: 4:11pm On Mar 27 |
Wainey:Who made it universal? Who gave it that previledge? Nobody, it's just the slave mentality of Nigerians... nothing like universal currency, it is only used as the official currency in international trade, under the neocolonialistic imf international trade system...that's why we must join BRICS. Nigeria is a sovereign nation, we can make laws to protect our currency and economy. We are not subjects of America. Nothing like universal currency. |

Re: closed by Johnjustice: 4:30pm On Mar 27 |
Wainey:You are just a zombie, following America and it's dictates like all the other zombies. Who made dollar universal currency? Who owns IMF? Who owns world bank? America owns this institutions, use it to manipulate Africa nations, and made it's currency international trading currency and zombies like you want to continue in that system, even when your currency can't compete... wisdom is profitable when used, it's not enough to know. |
