Kobojunkie:This can't be normal None of the passages you quoted here said those things you attached to them. Not a single one. And which Paul and Peter lived in the land of Canaan? Lmao... This cannot be normal... |

crackhaus:1.Wow... You mean Jesus Christ never decreed the following in His Kingdom; ▶ All men and women are equals ▶ He alone is the Teacher, Master, Head, Shepherd, Authority, etc. In His Kingdom ▶ That God's special blessing/permissions belong to those who would live as Eunuchs for the sake of His Kingdom ▶ That women with children should cry for themselves and their children... 2. You didn't know Paul and Peter lived in the land of Canaan in the nation of Judah? Let me guess. You have never actually read the book yourself but you are all too certain everything your MOGs have ever told you of it is true, right? You religious folks are very predictable. You will even throw God and the Bible in the fire all so you can hold on to the particular delusions you cling to. 1 Like |

crackhaus:It's called consensus decision making. It breaks down in large groups, but it works if the group is small. A marriage consisting of a man and a woman is small enough for consensus decision making to work as long as each party is reasonable and wants the other party to also succeed. For the sake of harmony, the husband's wishes take priority in some areas and the wife's wishes take priority in other areas. |

Seun:I think you have it mixed up. Consensus decision making works best in large groups where the majority can win a vote. In a group consisting of two people, you can't have a consensus when both parties have opposing ideas. At best, what you'll have is a compromise. In marriage, it becomes an issue of who should compromise more and in what situation. You captured the essence of 'compromise' in your last sentence. |

Consensus means decisions will require the agreement of everybody. Clearly it's easier for two people to come to agreement than for 100 people to come to agreement on an issue. 4 Likes 2 Shares |
