This one kills within 30 minutes.

Firstly, the shape of its head shows it's a viper.

Secondly, what type of viper? Horn, pit, sand, Russell, bush, forest?

I guess that's an African brown bush viper.

It's not a viper ! But a cobra a viper has a depression between its head like a small pit that is what distinguishes all viper

That's not a cobra. It's a viper! Cobras always raise up their head to strike when they feel threatened.

Cobra has rounded pupil. The snake he killed has a slit, or elliptical or cat eyes.

Make una dey do research before quoting someone.

I know you won't agree. You guys will never learn.

With the way,we are here killing wild animals recklessly without recourse, eeh! Don't worry pple
Wild animals will soon have their turn on humans as we can reckon in the Book of Revelations, which ironically 90% of Nigerian pastors avoid like a plague or Ebola.

On my way to farm this morning I decided to go through a farm where palm wine is tapped so I can get fresh palm wine for my stomach.

I reached a point where I see a crab always at the entrance of it's hole but didn't see it today so I decided to look around when I saw this snake with its head in a hole and its body outside not moving. I knew it was alive cause it looked fresh.

Cut long story short I killed it with a huge stone I simply dropped on it and saw frogs coming out of the hole it had its head in.

Who can Identify this snake please?

So no one advise you to cut its head off!

You shouldn't have killed it. The snake is in it's own habitat. It's just like an armed robber seeing you by the window side and just decides to kill you just for nothing.

You say what? Say it again, habiwhat? Anywhere we humans visit, deadly animals should not lurk around there. This is Nigeria, not a developed country yet o.
