iLegendd: I don't want to say I support your last sentence but I understand they're the only non indigenous tribe in this country. Ever since their invasion, it's been different troubles and they're the only ones that won't want to work or hustle. I've not encountered this fake igbo issues and we don't sit down thinking or discussing about other people on our own except on posts like this. But the fact is we're flabbergasted if it's our first time of encountering another Igbo speaking person then you're like "hey I'm not igbo." So now We're genuinely interested in what tribe you come from that also speaks like us but you don't give us any answer just saying I'm Rivers, I'm Delta, I'm Niger Delta. Since we, the Igbo already know about Ijaw, Bini, Kalabari and Urhobo, we will naively concerned to know what is your own tribe from those states since it's not Igbo but when you continue, we may think you're playing with us and just dismiss you for mocking us or yourself. Otherwise, any insults are political motivated. Yes, the igbo man will first support someone from Bayelsa, Calabar, Rivers before a Northerner but unlike what anyone thinks, they have no unlearned hatred for Yoruba, Northerner or other tribes. As for everything else about igbo, I could have said a lot only if there was a voice note option. Igbo ethnic group is not one people or offspring of one man. Like superonyi was saying, Igbo speaking tribes, clans, families have different roots. Some related more to Igala, others to Efik, Benin etc.. Whether you shoot me or not, there's absolutely nothing else to describe you as hence I wish this country was sensible enough to a form of disintegration or better still decentralisation. A lot of boundaries need to be changed.. For example, South South is the only zone and name (except maybe middle belt a.k.a north central) that doesn't make cultural or geographical sense. I mean what has Edo, Bayelsa, Akwa/Cross got to do with each other? What are the indigenes getting from the federal government? Apart from Ohaji/Egbema/Ndoni/Ọgba and Bonny L.G.As, most other parts of the Niger Delta or South South are in darkness, no access roads, oil spillage, lack of drinkable water or hygienic environment etc.. FG taking everything to the North. They tried and succeeded in using oil and tribalism to divide the eastern region. Many unwise individuals including some Igbo (who may behave like the ones you mentioned) think Biafra was an Igbo struggle. It started from the plights of native people in Ogoni and other places when the oil cartel struck. Their propaganda made the Asaba side think they were any less Igbos just because they weren't across the River Niger yet they sent soldiers there multiple times to massacre them. THEY CREATED hurriedly created Rivers state just to make you think Oil is what the other Igbos were after but now as we can see, Nigeria has multiple oil producing spots including Lagos and even the north will join. Nigeria should be in regions instead of this fake geopolitical zones. Delta, Cross River and Rivers states(English names) are the most confusing creations of these cabals(they tried to rectify it for the Ijaw people with Bayelsa). The people are neglected so much in relation to what they deserve or the output of their lands. And they planted cultism, drug and arms trafficking businesses there to forestall the people having a positive realisation of events. Some parts of Rivers and Delta states deserve to be carved out to form one state (or two) and stay on their own. In fact those 3 states(just like many others) deserve to be dissolved and reformed to suit the people's representations. I mean Bayelsa with only 8 LGAs was formed for the Ijaw people. The entire North isn't owned by Hausa or Fulani, Yoruba and Igbo doesn't start and end in Southeast or Southwest. Many tribe's identity are being lost at the national level. There's just a lot of things wrong with the formation of this country and one of the major reasons Nigeria isn't really working as it should. 3 Likes 1 Share |

EreluRoz: Some of your comments are just so weird, who created Rivers state? The people known as Ikwerre (whose relatives are in Rivers and Imo) have existed way before Nigeria or even Rivers state existed. You Nigerians must stop defining people's border with this artificial borders created by Nigeria and Europeans. How's Rivers an Ijaw state when the Ijaw people are older than the state and even Nigeria? |

SuperOnyi:Thank God you mentioned Imo state which means you are just fighting hard to accept the truth. No igbo is originally from River State, they were just visitors that settled on an Ijaw land |
