Go to Airtel office or authorised agent with 30 or 35k and also, carry your nepa bill, means of (drivers license, Intl passport etc)

They will fix up in 30mins with a 5g router and u opt for the speed based plan which is 20k monthly.

The 1st month is free for 30 days. U pay 20k subsequently

Ooh, it's a router, which means it's not mobile...

I've found the trick for mtñ zapping. If u want the data to last. Drop down to 3g/2g. If u r on 4g. The moment u load data on 4g.it starts wipe.if u like browse or not if u near 5g. Just say 30mins your data don finish. Drop down to 3g and your data can last at least a month max.....

What about the slow connection that comes with it, it will frustrate you till you switch back to 4G

Choosing The Right ISP In Nigeria: A Buyer's Guide For Informed Decisions.

Finding the perfect internet service provider (ISP) can feel overwhelming in Nigeria, with so many options and conflicting information. This guide equips you, the buyer on the hunt for the perfect internet plan, with the knowledge to navigate the world of wireless internet providers and keep your entire household and offices connected and entertained.

Key Factors to Consider:

Coverage and availability, does the ISP offer service in your specific area? Check their coverage maps or contact customer service for confirmation. You also need to check their Internet Speed and reliability status. What internet speed do they offer (download and upload)? Do their plans guarantee minimum speeds? Research online reviews to assess their reliability record. Data Caps and usage limits, Do they offer unlimited data plans, or are there data caps? Consider your average monthly data usage and choose a plan that avoids surprise charges.

Price and Value, Compare advertised prices across different ISPs, considering any hidden fees or introductory offers. Look beyond just price and choose a plan that offers the features and speeds you need. Customer Service, Research online reviews and compare customer service reputations. Look for ISPs with multiple support channels (phone, chat, email) and responsive service. Additional Features, Do they offer extras like bundled services (TV, phone) or free Wi-Fi hotspots? And consider features that add value to your overall internet experience.

Tips for Comparing ISPs: Create a shortlist of ISPs that offer service in your area, Use online comparison tools to analyze plans, speeds, and costs side-by-side. Contact customer service to get specific quotes and clarify any doubts. Beyond the Basics, Here are Some Considerations for Specific Needs; Specifically, Gamers look for ISPs with low latency and dedicated gamer plans. Remote Workers prioritize plans with high upload speeds for video conferencing, while larger households choose plans with high data caps or unlimited data to accommodate multiple users.

Choosing the right ISP doesn't have to be a headache, such that by prioritizing the factors above and conducting thorough research, you can confidently select an internet service provider that delivers the speed, reliability, and value you deserve.

Understanding Isps The Backbone Of Our Internet Connection And Online Experience

What is an ISP?

In today’s digitally connected world, understanding the basics of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) is crucial for anyone seeking to optimize their online experience. Below, we delve into the essentials of ISPs and their significance in providing reliable and fast internet connections.

Introduction to ISP (Internet Service Provider)

An ISP, or Internet Service Provider, is a company that supplies individuals and organizations with access to the internet. Think of your ISP as the gateway connecting your home or business to the vast expanse of the world wide web. Without an ISP, you wouldn't be able to browse websites, stream videos, or engage in online activities.

The Role of an ISP in Providing Internet Access

ISPs play a pivotal role in delivering internet access by connecting your devices to their infrastructure, which in turn, links to the greater internet. They manage the hardware, software, and network resources necessary to ensure you have a seamless online experience. Whether you're using a wired connection or searching for “wifi near me,” your ISP is the backbone facilitating your internet usage.

Importance of Choosing the Right ISP for Fast and Reliable Internet Connection

Selecting the right ISP is vital for ensuring a fast and reliable internet connection. A poor choice can result in slow speeds, frequent disconnections, and overall frustration. The ideal ISP should offer robust service with minimal downtime, quick customer support, and competitive pricing.

Factors Affecting Internet Speed and the Role of ISP in This Context

Several factors can influence your internet speed, including network congestion, distance from ISP servers, and the type of connection (DSL, cable, fiber). Your ISP has control over most of these aspects, making it essential to choose one that prioritizes high-speed connectivity. Understanding your needs and how your chosen ISP manages its network can significantly affect your internet performance.

Understanding the Basics of Internet Speed and How It's Measured in Mbps

Internet speed is measured in Mbps (Megabits per second), indicating how much data can be transferred in one second. Higher Mbps means faster internet speed, which is crucial for activities like streaming, gaming, and downloading large files. When comparing ISPs, noting the Mbps they offer can help you choose the best plan for your needs.

How to Conduct a Speed Test for Your Internet Connection

Conducting an internet speed test is a straightforward way to measure your connection's performance. Websites like Speedtest.net allow you to test your internet speed by measuring download and upload speeds, as well as latency. Regularly performing a speed test can help you ensure that your ISP is delivering the speeds promised in your plan.

The Impact of ISPs on Online Experience and Daily Internet Usage

Your ISP significantly impacts your daily online experience. From the quality of video calls to the speed of downloading files, a good ISP ensures smooth and efficient internet usage. Conversely, a subpar ISP can lead to buffering videos, laggy games, and slow-loading web pages, affecting productivity and enjoyment.

Tips for Choosing the Best ISP

Research and Compare: Look at different ISPs in your area, compare their plans, and read reviews.
Check Availability: Not all ISPs serve every area, so ensure your preferred ISP is available near you.
Consider Speed: Choose a plan that offers sufficient Mbps for your household's needs.
Customer Support: Opt for an ISP known for excellent customer service to resolve issues promptly.
Test Regularly: Use speed test internet services to regularly check your connection and ensure you get what you pay for.

By understanding what an ISP is and its importance in your online life, you can make informed decisions that enhance your internet experience. Always aim for an ISP that aligns with your needs and delivers consistently reliable and fast internet speeds.
