I think its a great idea...you can start from next year..instead of text battles all the time-- the main skill after all is in vocals-
*but I don't think it should be freestyle..cos I don't think everyone here can freestyle rap.. I think lyrics should be written and rapped then posted along with the audio .. you can also set a time limit - 2 mins for e.g...

first I said I had a sore throat and said I would talk not rap..I wasn't rapping... I was just talking lines
secondly I was freestyling- you can't expect me to be fluid and flow perfectly..
I was battling kinda --shadow boxing..I was dissing nobody in particular .. that's how I do my freestyles - bragging and dissing ...
