The HOA region (Horn of Africa) is named for it's near remarkable geographical resemblence to, say, the horn of a rhino (or pick your horned beast of choice, really). As for our inherent 'horniness', well, I've only one visit at the age of 13-14ish to reference, and though I appropriately remember nothing of note pertaining to the subject at hand, I will say that its effing hot over there, like really effing hot. And people tend to have large families, like really effing large families. So based on those two things, and a few others, I will say that us Horners may be hornier than wholly necessary.
