sycophants doing what they know how to do best . This one has turned it into buhari vs gej..didn't the super eagles win the afcon and didnt we win this tournament in one year under goodluck? didn't Nigeria perform better in the world cup under gej?

You do not need to turn it to an insult. If you were born before '85 you would know that we won the maiden edition during his first regime and now that he's back we won it again. Free your mind and let your reasoning be opened before you attack others.

Honestly, I used to be one of those individuals that never took these FIFA age-grade competitions seriously.

However after taking time to Google Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) on Wikipedia, I discovered that there is 99% accuracy in using MRI to determine biological age below 17years, and FIFA has since 2009 adopted MRI in the u17 competition.

I therefore encourage all those doubters and skeptics to Google MRI on Wikipedia and objectively decide.

Finally, I see a very bright future for this golden generation of Eaglets and also for Nigeria football, only if NFF and other football stakeholders in the country can put their acts together.

Once more, Congratulations our Gallant & Victorious Golden Eaglets!!!

So how come the MRI scanning machine didnt detect that Stanley Okoro was almost 30? The reality is that if you dont abuse your body with Drugs or Alcohol you could easily beat the scanning machine.

Amuneke showers praise on his boys after World Cup victory:

After clinching a record fifth U17 title, the Golden Eaglets coach has paid tribute to his opponents while praising his players’ dedication

Nigeria U17 head coach Emmanuel Amuneke has praised his team's performance in securing a win against Mali to win the Fifa U17 World Cup on Sunday.

Two second half goals from Victor Osimhen and Funsho Bamgboye sealed a record fifth U17 title for the Golden Eaglets.

Amuneke, a former African Player of the Year winner and part of Nigeria's victorious 1994 Africa Cup of Nations squad, paid tribute to his opponents while praising his boys' dedication.

''It was a beautiful and entertaining match. I think the people in the stadium enjoyed it today,'' Amuneke told Fifa.com.

''We knew that Mali are technically very strong, have great individual players and are very fast.

"We wanted to make no mistakes but we lost the ball many times in the midfield in the first half.

"But I don’t want to complain because they are all kids. We changed some things in the second half and made some substitutes. That brought us more safety in our game. We are thankful for everything,'' he said.

After his successful career as a player, Amuneke's coaching stint has taken off to a great start that has culminated in the unveiling of talented young players like tournament record scorer Victor Osimhen and best player Kelechi Nwakali among others.

"We wanted to bring the players to their dreams and we did it. Thanks for the support. We feel like we are at home," he said.

"We have worked very hard for this success and we hope to continue. The players will go home now but their journey is not over yet.

"Personally I’m really happy. I have football in my blood, as a player and as a coach. This is what I want to pass to my players.”

The Nigeria Football Federation has expressed faith in the coach as he is expected to continue in his role with the Under 17s.

30mins to go.

Let us go boys. We must bring this trophy home and break dat yeye asian soil myth. Now 5 is here and Mali must and can't stop us.

I pray Osimhen gets his numba 10 goal today. You may say individual trophy is not important but this one is. It will be an added award to complement our fifth title. There is no fun in having 3 players stranded on 9 goals.

Klexycole hope you are not hiding again like you did when we played mexico.
