When Does "Thank You" Become Unnecessary? by ADENIKETINA2015(f): 8:10am On Jul 22, 2017
I work in Dry Cleaning firm as a Sales Rep/Front Desk Personnel. Sometimes customers give us tip(with my assistant). We tell them "Thank You" at the spot but my assistant likes to thank them every time they come back(like Sir/Ma'am, thank you for the other day) and I felt it was unprofessional and had to tell her to stop doing it. I feel the first "thank you" is enough already so, it doesn't seem like you want them to continually tip you every time they come(I may be wrong but that's the way I see it). Was I wrong to have stopped her from thanking them afterwards and does that make me unappreciative?
