But intelligent observers knew all along that ATIKU was wasting money, even PDP knew, they just needed someone with the available funds to float the party till 2023 plus they obviously had to test Buhari's fading popularity, the problem was there was no sure candidate. To Change power, you need a sellable Candidate and Tinubu is smart enough to know his best bet is Buhari. That's why you can call him a fool all your life but he will always back the winning horse, better the devil he knows and that's why he is bold enough to tell you he doesn't gain any financial gratifications from Buhari's government, he's only interested in 2023 and making sure his men are in key positions in APC. Whoever will become the presidential candidate of APC in 2023, you can bet Tinubu has a say, because let's face it, he's a huge stakeholder now since the other heavy weights left APC, he has his men as gubernitorial candidates, was in charge of Buhari's Campaign and has pushed more of his men into the party heirachy itself. He is ready for the divide and rule tactics because he's sure anyone who needs the presidential ticket will still have to come back to him in 2023, it's a game of numbers and his men dominate APC, so no matter how much you divide, he is still a dominant force. As to the issue of PDP fielding a northern candidtate in 2023, I doubt they would want to test the southern will that way, but if they do, there is always the APC joker.

He is trying to force APC's hand, PDP has given up already and they are just trying to cause issues between Buhari and Tinubu, I hear APC us coasting to victory in the Senate and Rep, big miscalculation from Saraki
