The industry has evolved almost to world class standards. The trailers I saw of some of the nominated movies were very remarkable. One surprising thing I also noticed then was that majority of the Facebook fans were Igbo. Most of the Yoruba only stayed on Twitter, and the few on Facebook splitted their support among different participant. The Igbo mostly supported the Igbo housemate especially toward the tail end of the show. You only find Seyi supporter among Yoruba and other African. I began to ask if talent is ethnically based.

I did not follow 2017 but I believe same was the case of Bisola. Everyone acknowledge the fact that this lady was the most deserving winner even two years after she lost to Efe.
