And yes, Islam is very unattractive. There are too many laws, and very little freedom to pursue a personal relationship with God.

Just imagine me, after all the freedom that Christ has given me, now go and join Islam where I will be imprisoned by many rules and regulations on how to worship my God.

And that is exactly the very same problem I have with today's Christianity, especially as practised in many African countries.

Christ has liberated us from the yoke of the law, but many pastors are hell bent on returning Christians under the bondage of the Law, all for pecuniary gains.

Religion should be a way of life, not a prison or a cult. Religion and spiritual freedom are not mutually exclusive.

Check the lives of other spiritual leaders in history, from Buddha to Confucius, to Jesus Christ, and compare them to Mohammed.

You will notice that while the other spiritual leaders balanced their teachings with spiritual freedom, Mohammed was only interested in taking away people's freedom, and imposing his wills on them.

U are even force to be a Muslim, I have lived in the north, what I observed is that ur life revolves around religion. The little children are forced to join almajiry n study the Quran for 10 yrs, if that's not brainwashing I wonder what it is.

Even the children that are not almajiries, their parents still send them to islamia school in the evening after going to normal day school. That's still brainwashing.

Finally the normal day school also revolves around Religion, the school I taught, religious study was the only course the students took serious.

To them physic n biology was a waste of time.
