Dear Partner-in-Progress, As someone in the writing business, what have you done today to improve? This week? This month? This year? Are you even thinking of becoming better at what you do? Or, is this just a way to make a quick buck off clients who don't know what good writing is, or who won't give two hoots about quality? Oh! Some will pity you and pay you. Your rate is nothing compared with the blessing of having you off their back for good! I'm glad you've read this far! Yes, you, Mr Client! What have you done to improve your business? The processes and the outcomes . The "Write" Side of Life By now, you should've realized that the writing business doesn't exactly run on autopilot. You should ask Boeing about the 737 Max! You see, dear writer, in ten minutes you can pick up a tip from an article or YouTube video that'll wow some of your clients. I said some. How about picking up two of such tips every ten days? Now, go back and polish your fundamentals. Yes, spelling, grammar, and tenses never go away. If you write for a living, you're in this life-long prison! But, you can improve with every piece you write! Now, you'll win some more clients. Here's a timeless tip: why not study the feedback on your current and past jobs? They're part of why I am starting to shine brightly in this business. When they tell me a bad writer is a bad writer, I disagree. I tell them to give you a bit more time because you can improve *if you choose to*. There's no point in being a content thief. You're much better than that. The Other Side of the Coin Back to you, dear client. It's a great pleasure when you say you're hiring or employing a writer. You feel on top of the world, and maybe you should because you're doing much better than some governments at creating jobs. But, do you realise the writer hasn't come to the table for crumbs? He deserves substance too. I work with a particular client who said these words to me: Happy writer, happy client. Listen up, I've suspended jobs to face hers even when she's paying less. Your accounting skills shouldn't suddenly be all too accurate when dealing with your writer. Think of it, just a little more their way won't hurt your business. Remember, you'll be sustaining and securing the future if you dare to see your writer as a partner in progress. Yes, they're in business for themselves, but life isn't just about financial profits, contrary to what economic circumstances have drilled into our minds. Ms Client, don't be a sample thief too. The least you could do is to have some character not to pass off another's hard work as yours. At the very least, pay the writer for the sample and let them know your intentions. It's just not valid to expect the writer to share your liabilities or shortcomings in your contracts. Business is risky and trust me, a good writer who's cut their teeth right has no business waiting for your client to approve your submission. Pay a writer once you feel confident to send the job to your own client. With a good relationship, you can always ask them to make edits where necessary. If they refuse to, then cut them off your team! In the first place, you should have a system to check submissions before they reach the client. It's more than checking with Grammarly and Copyscape. Even when a job passes those hurdles, it can fail what I believe is the ultimate test: the test of client requirements. Client requirements are not a joke! They're a reference; a checklist of what the client wants and you've accepted to deliver to them. Don't give your writers briefs as if they're a mere list of instructions. Discuss briefs with the writer and make sure you're both clear on what the client wants, when they want it, and the best approach for the project. Refuse to let any writer dismiss any client requirements as unimportant. If they do so during your discussions, they're likely to implement it while writing. Sometimes, it's impossible to go back on a job, so always start a project on the best footing possible. Ask your writers what they're comfortable writing. Run your checks to confirm that. Then, distribute assignments along those lines. The Conclusion of a Weighty Matter My submission is the writer and the client are really on the same side. If they respect each other's business, it becomes easier to identify the impostors lurking around in our business. It really comes down to making simple improvements as a writer or client every single day. A community of seasoned writers and reputable clients can help you achieve your business goals. As a writer, you'll grow and earn what you're worth ( WhatsApp: +2348125266960 ). As a reputable client, you'll can find a stream of reliable writers to help with your projects: ( WhatsApp: +2348125266960 ). It's your move already. Make it! Thank you 11 Likes |

SpaghettiThots: On good clients who pay less, I have one. I once dumped him for another client who promised heaven and earth but ran away with the work. Good consistent clients are underrated. They may not pay the highest but they are more reliable. Had to go back and beg my consistent client o. 3 Likes |

Chrisdan01: Hello, here's your first step: write something today. Do the same tomorrow... And the day after that. Do this for thirty days. But, don't just write. Get someone to critique what you've done, and implement their ideas in the next day's piece. See you at the top. 3 Likes |

Hi there, I need an efficient, knowledgeable, and fast crypto writer for a long term gig. Topics border around trending topics on Blockchain, Crypto, DeFi, Metaverse, Web3, NFTs and DAOs. Pay is 3# for the first month and increases to #4 for the coming months. Topics would be provided and deadline is about 12 hrs from time given. However, if you can write fast and good, you can get as many articles as you can finish each day. Word count is about 1000 words. Article must pass copyscape. Content would be thoroughly vetted before it is published. Note: if you are not comfortable with the pay, please don’t bother to text.
