Please fellow Nairalanders, I went to rectify some issues with my first bank account only to find out that there exists another account bearing my full name and also linked with my BVN number that I was never aware of, when I probe further from the customer care rep i was told that the said bank account was opened somewhere in Ibadan, a place I've never been to all my life. I need help on the steps to take so as to get justice so as not to be implicated on what I know nothing about, your suggestions are highly welcomed and thanks in anticipation.

Ask for atm card for the account, withdraw all the money and close the account

I wonder why CBN is silent about this impersonation of accounts let just hope the NIN app would allow us choose the accounts that are throughly ours. Few days ago I deliberately opened an account with Zenith Bank I have not even funded the account what was strange to me was that hackers got access to my email and the only thing they sees to delete was my Zenith Bank account which is not even funded and that got me really curious o,because Zenith Bank has this super tech platform that shows your picture once you put the right details .
