Hello NDLers...

I'm a working class guy, with a bank in Enugu. The basic pay is 6 digits monthly and all that but sitting behind a system 9-5 is now really my thing. Teaching is my talent and impacting knowledge my passion hence I desire to establish a secondary school in South East Nigeria, preferably Aba.

Have set a target of time before I resign my banking job. I just need an insight from those with the know-how of school management... how much do I need to establish a standard secondary school? Anything else I need to know (considering the fact I'm not really experienced in running a school)?

I await meaningful responses... plus can the Mods help me move this to the front page?

well i tink u nid 2 get an Edu degree. But u can get an Edu degree in masters. In Ogun state nd Lag, u cant establish a sch witout an Edu degree, it d no1 requirement 4 sch establishment.

I guess you'll need someone in the field preferably an Educationist (with many years of experience) to teach you the technical-know-how of school business OR you can employ him or her as the principal/vice principal and you will be the Proprietor/Principal. Try going to some seminars and read books on Education Management to get brushed up. Many have tried but few have succeeded.

dats d fact, except d sch is nt govt approved or u approve it using an educationist doc which is wat many people do.
