What ar the document i need for me to apply for American Visa.
NOTE:-
I have a Father there who want to the state 11yrs back(2001) after winning Visa lottery.
he wants me to come and join him.
I already have a passport valid for two yrs now.
what document wuld i ask him to send?

Since ur father travel to the state with immigrant visa 11yrs ago definitely by now he would have be a US citizen , so with that he can file for you to come to the US as a permanent resident , instead of you seeking for a visiting visa ....

You said this person is ur father ?? right so why he didnt file for you so you can become immigrant once and for all , instead of going for visiting visa , and on the visiting visa you are liking to be denied , but you cant be denied for immigrant visa if its truly the person is ur father ... but if you insist on the visiting visa go to http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/visa_1750.html you will get all you want their i raise my case.... Why then did you lie to us that he is your father while in fact he is your uncle. Next time, plz provide the accurate informations as it is so that you may not be giving wrong advice.

You may have to provide informations about the type of visa you need. Visiting, business, study and tourist visas has different requirements. Which one do you want to apply?

Your main focus should be how to prove to the US embassy in Nigeria that you're simply coming to visit and go back to naija at the end of your stay. Though they know that most non-immigrant visa applicant visit the US and never go back but they will still want enough family ties from you to demonstrate your reture to naija. If I may ask, how old are you? Are you presently in school and can prove it? Do you have a good job and prove of income/salary? Are u married or single? This are just few things they might need to know to establish your family ties to Nigeria. Also having a 2 yrs old virgine passport is not of advantage to you cux they might think you've been looking for a way to waka for the pass two years! All depend on who interview you!
And if you ever make it to an interview, don't ever present your uncle as your father even if he was the one that raised you from 3 minutes old till today! We do that shit a lot in Africa but over here there's no such thing as "like a father to me" it's either he is your father or he's not period. Papa Na papa! Uncle Na uncle! Infact all older naija men here both Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba Na my uncles! Lol! Good luck!

Also it cost only $40 to file a form to run for a Governor in the US and $50 to register a company! So don't raise too much hope on a simply business letter heading addressed to you! Its no big deal! If he (your papa/uncle) registered a mechanic or automobile business in the US while you work in the bank or sell garri (food stuff) in nigeria that letter will be pure meaningless cux business letter heading should be for business at least something related instead of Doctor writing and inviting a farmer for medical conference or business!

Will Visa people believe that you are going to import machinery from USA to your farm?
Could you buy cheaper in SA or Israel?
Can you show money you will use for buying goods and shipment?
Do you have plan and costs to ship goods?

These are questions you will be asked.
Your story is very weak at the moment.

i will be going to inspect the use of modarn equipments before final procurement and also udergo a 10 days training on how to use them, thats how its written on the invitation letter from the company in USA the equipments are just modern storage equipments in the farm not like tractors oooo.

Was that all you can reply to my comments? You berely completed one line in answering my few question and you think you're prepared to face those guys at the embassy? Well am not trying to scare you but you need to do better! A whole lot better when answering this guys questions!
