Would You Return A Sophisticated Phone You Saw On The Road?

Well my fellow Nairalanders, i just wanted to knw, If u see a sophisticated phone, maybe worth 500,000 naira along the road, please be sincere with yourself, would you return it?

Definitely. I have a very tough conscience and I always believe in doing good. I'm still feeling guilt over things I did long ago.

i will definately return it i'm not bragging or something but there's no way a phone is good that i would't have a better one talkless of picking it on the floor apart from that da owner wouldn't seize calling you. if it happens to me when da person calls i'll make arrangement in front of a public store cos of secutity reasons. if you lost something precious to you and someone returns it you'll be so glad won't you. listen to your heart

Honesty pays, (literally speaking now ). A customer picked up a Nokia 6230 in the internet cafe where I work. Turns out it belongs to one of our better customers. He sends his chaffeur to pick it up and adds a N2000 reward for the chappie! Of course it doesn't always work out this way but it shows that it is right to do what is right, ALWAYS!!

I'd take it to the police station, and let them track down the owner (done it a few times for wallets and such - usually get a phone call from the person that lost their wallet saying thanks for handing it in)

Hmmm! Nice thread but why is it that most response came from females. I just hope its not male pretending to be females. Moreso, most of u r just saying u will return or do something good, u beta act on your words. I'm sure most of them, if it happens tomorrow, they will be d 1st to remove d sim n d rest. As 4 me, d person will surely get it back whether he likes it or not but i might not spend a dime searching for d person because its risky n some other disadvantages! Experience is d best teacher. If u have done such n u sold d phone or u started using it, pls just change your ways n repent.

I believe peeps dat will return d phone are in d very small minority because my folks & I have lost a total of 5 phones & non of dem was returned.
I think d chances of d phone being returned also depends on d sex of person who found d phone.In short if na woman,there's a high probability of d phone been returned,but if na man,there's a low probability cos every1 na sharp man 4 naija but me I go return am sha.

There' no statistic to show that most people will return or steal the phone semid.


Personally, I would return the phone.


Why should one be so desperate for such a phone?

a short story, in Igbins,okada.a BLW boy once returned one Agogo's V3.After making all d calls to get thru to her,she claimed he stole it.i've returned a couple of phones,i've kept like 2. the truth is dis, it all depends.sincerelyi cannot say if i'll 100% return it.

I picked a phone one day, Already i know i will never call the owner,but turned the phone on for one week,no one called,not even a beep,i just thanked god for the life of the phone for not getting smashed by a vehicle, Removed the sim,turned it to night call machine,and et cetera, i felt the owner hated the phone and droped it for me,that god i claimed it, But if the owner had called,i would have returned it,
