OP, I think the women are supposed to dress like Mary, I don't know about the men.
According to First Corinthians chapter 11 verse something, women should either cover their heads or go bald. It is also written that the reason for that is because the woman was created for the man while the man was created for God but that is a topic for another day.
So maybe men should dress like that picture, but women's dressing should be different.

yes he was also treatd like a common criminal with the Jewish Sarheddin involved. even the Romans complied with the Jewish system and did according to the wishes of the Jewish court, considering the fact that it was a very unstable region and they didnt want more trouble. Infact, i think you are absolutely right. Jesus wanted to break away from the existing Religious order, plagarize and createhis own version with himself being the object of worship. this infuriated the Jews. Also he wanted to make it a converting/proselytising machine which was not acceptable in ANY religion back then, for that matter. he was basically a trouble maker and an illusionist/magician doing petty tricks o woo the crowd..
