Hi Nairalanders,

I am here to present my case to you all and hope someone out there can read this and render the help that is required.
My childhood friend is currently diagnosed with Cancer of the nasal cavity, he is currently homeless and lives on a balcony of a friend's house as that is the only space avaailable for him to live in at the moment.
He needs shelter and chemotherapy and radiation sessions. I wrote a private mail to someone on nairaland who was in charge of fund raising for Mr Obuh, Perx and the little girl in Ogun State. For some reason I got no response.
I hope someone reads this and directs me to the right channel in order to help this young Nigerian out. He is one of us and the future of tomorrow.

Please help him make this to front page and direct it to ifyalways and Oam.
Thank you and God bless.

The more people who read this, the better his chances of being heard.

Over three dozen people have viewed this topic and no response? Pls help take this to the appropriate quater, it could be any one of us tomorrow, our loved one, a friend. Lets get this appeal started. I plead with our human nature of being our brothers/ sisters keeper.
ifyalways, I stalked you on a thread you're active on, pls help.
The more people know about his case, the better his chances of being saved so he can have a normal life. Lets give him a voice. Without you guys, it can't happen. No ones wishes/ desires/ prays to be ill or impoverished .

Just a day of Linda ikeji highlighting the plight of a fellow Nigerian, Jude okoye, (p-squares brother/ manager) donated 1 million to the funds. All this case needs is verification and publicity.

Thank you.

Sorry WAVixen, I got your message and should have responded before now.

I forwarded your message to the group, but we have not been able to fully discuss it or reach a conclusion on it because we are yet to conclude on the current project we are handling.

Please bear with us we will get back to you. And it is a good thing you started this thread to create more awareness.

Hi,

Thank you for acknowleging you received my mail. I just sent a mail to the charity. I know it is inundated with a lot at the moment. But, you can see that from opening the thread nothing as progressed. Almost a hundred views and nothing has happened. That was why I wanted the committee to handle it. Please time is of the essence. Look forward to hearing from you.

I'm all for rendering financial assistance. Hopefully the TeHN will take this case up, and get things organised.

Thank you so much Siena, protocol must be followed with the committee. Let us all rally round to make this happen for one of our own, we did it before and we can do it again. Spread the word.
