Hello Nairalanders, I need an expert/experienced advice on the reliability of the 2003/2004 Honda Pilot. I want pple who have driven or still driving this SUV to advice me on the pros & cons of the ride.....I need info on its general cost of maintenance, fuel economy and off road abilities. Just say all you know about the ride.....I intend purchasing one soon.....your advice will surely assist! Thanks. |

It is a nice ride and the maintenance is not bad at all, however, you will have to take care of it, change the Oil regularly and do the tune up at the right time, and dont just abuse it, and you will enjoy what the machine is got to offer you. |

@ adex I have been driving a 2004 Honda Pilot for 18 months now; so far, I have no regret(s). No cause to change any part(s), no gear box problem. The SUV is so so sweet. It gives me the speed whenever I want it. Its acceleration is so superb, being a V6 engine the fuel consumption is a o.k compared to other V6 engines. I will recommend Honda Pilot anytime, anyday, especially for a long distance and frequent travelling. Make sure you service it often and follow the simple maintenance tips. All the best |
