Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare has once again qualified for the next round of the women’s 100m race. She won her semi finals heat in 10.92 seconds to qualify for the women’s 100m finals. Only yesterday, she qualified for the semi finals by setting a personal best of 10.93 seconds. She has clearly taken her win from yesterday to score another victory today.

In a recent Super Sport feature on Okagbare titled London Conversations, she is reported to have said:

‘’I am here for the title…I want to be as comfortable as I can. I know it’s going to be tough but I am well prepared for it. I just have to fight to get to the finals and from there anything can happen. I am ready, both mentally and physically.”

Blessing is bravely flying the Nigerian flag all the way to the Olympics finals. We wish her all the best in the finals.

her starting is always poor. was surprised she made it to the finals. Thought she was out wen she started but luckily came from behind to make it thru. Well....against all odds i think she is indeed a blessing to we Nigerians. Goodluck girl....Make us proud Tonite.
