How To View And Delete Event Log On A Full Touch Screen Blackberry by femi4: 8:22am On Aug 11, 2012
Now it’s obvious that pressing ALT L G L G on your home screen will launch Event Log on your BlackBerry.

But what happens when you have a full touchscreen device such as the BlackBerry Torch 9850/9860 etc.
It’s still possible to do:

Select the Universal Search icon located on the upper righthand corner of your home screen underneath your signal meter.

Now that your in the text field and the keyboard has automatically launched, hit the symbol/number key located on the lower left of the keyboard.

Type “ / “ / (quote, forward slash, quote, forward slash) just as you see it and the Event Log will come up.

That’s all there is to it. From here you can see your full event log and choose to delete it by clicking menu, delete log.

from your home screen, press the search icon, it will bring out the keyboard, then change keypad to number mode by pressing 123 botton.
Then press "/"/ from your keyboard, it will launch the event log

Update for storm2

From the home screen,
1. Press the menu button, press show keyboard, press and hold the button for the number options.

2. Holding this down will lock the keyboard in numbers only mode.

3. Once you are in the numbers mode, press ,5,5 (comma 5 comma5). This will take you into the event log.

4. Once you are in the event log press the menu button and press clear log. Once cleared, press the escape key and close
