It would be too much for YOU to handle if it is outside of Nigeria.

I'm actually laughing at you right now to be honest, if I was mad, I would probably be typing in caps.

I have never before in my life heard someone so boastful and condescending except for Americans who think they know it all. Too arrogant, selfish and think the world revolves around them. Don't get me wrong, not all Americans are this way, but the majority are.

The same thing can be said about some Africans. Some of you have this animosity towards Black Americans, and it comes off in your behavior towards us. What's the problem with trying to get along and understand one another, without being so critical? You haven't walked our walk nor have we walked yours, so the hate and animosity is unnecessary.

Sorry but I think you forget am a Fulani, I know about Africa, you can't match my knowledge when it comes to Africa. Highly unlikely that a Westerner would be able to, especially one not from the culture.

A lot of Africans try to, but Americans (Black, White, Asian, HIspanic) are very condescending to Africans. Too much false media and propaganda has gotten to their heads.

The only time an American of african descent might be condescending is if you come in there on some 'holier than thou' trip. Other than that, most times you are extremely welcomed to join in in our conversations. We could learn alot from each other without the ruckus from either side. He11, I've been called albino, oyinbo, and all kinds of crazy crap from Africans, still doesn't make me hate all africans.

That just isn't true, obviously you didn't see what Madame Chima typed in "The Wodaabe" thread about how "non-Africans know more than Africans living in Africa about Africa."

It is like someone saying "Africans know more about America and North America than North Americans living in North America".

Just like alot of Africans are condescending towards us as if we're all the same and monolithic. Just because you get a few idiots who are rude, doesn't mean that everyone will be. It's up to you to give it a chance.

Akata or no Akata, we are all free about our opinions. Let us listen more so we can understand how much people know about us and their ignorance. We don't have to rain curses and abuses, all we need is to inform and educate others. A whole lot of foreigners don't know that Africa is a continent, they feel Africa is a country. I met a chap that cant even believe Egypt is in Africa. Cos, it beats his imagination that such land marks could be in Africa. Lets continue to inform and educate them. I consulted for a dutch company recently and the chaps kept asking me how come i have so much grip and command. Few of them know a lot about us and are very good ambassadors at spreading the right view about Africa. They know we are very competitive and very proud people, never taking no for an answer. We are just rugged, but plenty wahala dey ground o. I rest my case

These niggas isn't going to tell you the real deal. These niggas supposedly have Masters' degrees and their comprehension sucks like hell. It started off when Ms. Darkskin and I were talking about how it is a shame that a Non-African had to teach an African about his history. I also said that there are Africans who do not know their own history and that it is a shame.

Fulaman started catching feelings because the nigga is still hurt from a previous arsewhooping he received from a different thread and started bitching about how Americans think they know more than Africans and some bullshit.

I corrected him by saying if you comprehend what I said maybe you wouldn't cry so much. Ms, Darkskin even corrected him by saying that it is not what he thought it was but of course he is a typical bush nigga who can't accept the fact that he bleeped up and went off without reading the contents in entirety.

These two supposedly "educated" bush monkeys keep talking about Lagos and Ph like that encompasses all of AFRICA. It is clear that I said AFRICAN HISTORY and not NIGERIAN HISTORY. They are supposed to know know Nigerian history if they are Nigerians. Duh.

Fulaman is upset that his brothers are "stepping from the bullshit culture" and adopting other cultures or traditions and it is America's fault that his brothers CHOSE to do so.

Royal called him out on being a bigot especially when he went on about how he doesn't think his Fula brothers shouldn't marry outside their clan but to give praises and glory to one of his brother's wife who is White and not Fulani. Flip-flopping much?

That's how all this bullshit ensued and both biatches mad that a Non-African corrected their African brother about his own history.

I really don't know why they would call me that, but I have been called those names by Africans. I didn't take offense, because I may be light, but by no means am I albino. They can know, if they would actually take the time to get to know who we are instead of judging all black americans based on stereotypes they see in the media. I'm not gonna let black americans off the hook either about the stereotypes, LOL, because we are definitely guilty of them too. It could be why either side has a tendancy to be defensive with each other.
