I-man: may i ask what is wrong with that. especially if her family is convinced that they can indeed run the affairs of the country and be ready to pay the ultimate price (if need be). |
Re: Benazir Bhutto Former Pakistani Prime Minister Is Dead by Reverend(m): 12:42pm On Dec 28, 2007 |
Benazir Bhutto, like her husband was a corrupt, power hungry criminal out to exploit the election and the Pakistani people for her own gain. Pakistan is nothing more than a safe haven for Islamic terrorists and did not even exist as a country until recently. No need to cry for her or the Paki's. Like every other Islamic state, there is no future or hope, just a long downward spiral of violence and the inevitable slide back to the stoneage. Islamic State = Doom |

hey Carlosein security is a personal thing.she need not ask the government for increase in security details.she can hire as many as she want.does who fail to prepare have prepared to fail. The Pakistani opposition leader knew very well the risks she ran when she decided to wage a public campaign for the restoration of democracy.so many well trained protective detail are in that country searching for job.if this kind thing happen for naija i for say na money dem no wan spend. |

now i am tempted to believe that woman of a desert spirit might have set her death up just to make Musharraf look bad. the security reports released where quite disturbing! she practically went out naked in search of the destroyers Bullet! We mourn because we have a conscience, not because we have knowledge. she knew what she was up to, i dare say |

MP007: The death of bhutto did not surprised me at all. How in the world do u expect bhutto , a harvard graduate to survive the animosity of the mideast? Since when did Pakistan become part of the Middle East? david was right. You're in way over your head. |

This was a news report from Wednesday:A day prior to her death. POLICE in Pakistan have stopped a 15-year-old boy they say was carrying a bomb made of dynamite and nails from gettnig into a rally by opposition leader Benazir Bhutto. The boy got past the first of four security checkpoints set up outside the rally in the northwestern city of Peshawar but was caught at the second, said police officer Rahim Shah, according to the Associated Press. In October, suicide bombers struck a parade celebrating Ms Bhutto's return from exile, killing more than 140 people in the southern city of Karachi. @Lai_Lai, The response you offered me to my post made absolutely no sense at all and I really hate to say this but you need to try find logic and reasoning to guide you in your life more. |

Re: Benazir Bhutto Former Pakistani Prime Minister Is Dead by Carlosein(m): 2:56pm On Dec 28, 2007 |
peteroby: peteroby, let me get this straight, security is a personal thing right, so you and i should forget the police and hire thugs (say), buy guns and armored vehicles, cctv and other security paraphernalia to protect ourselves she (BB) requested the government (whose duty it is to protect it's citizens), for security and as a former prime minister (just like any former government official in Nigeria), she is entitled to some more than average security. now tell me i missed your point entirely |

Quote from: lai-lai on Today at 12:20:40 AM What are you saying here? With all due respect, your reasoning is convoluted and lacks any modicum of rational thought. The only way you can justifiably state the US bears some responsibility for her death (which should not be construed as the US playing a covert part) is that the US did not enforce stringent security arrangements for her, trusting Musharaf's government to do that instead. What magic wand did the US weave that led to the death of Bhutto? The US saw her more as an ally of the West than Musharaf. And how could the US prefer chaos and instability in a region where they had a huge insterest? Since 1954 to date, Pakistan has received $21b in aid alone from the US. In addition, Pakistan has about 70 nuclear weapons, similar to that of India. Added to this, Pakistan is embroiled in a war of attrition over the Kashmir border with India. The foreign policy of India suggests they have no intention of using theirs, whilst Pakistan have no such policy. There's also the on going war against terrorism that is engulfing the region with the West expected to bear the brunt of it all. And let's not forget the increasing global trade that is thriving in India. In view of all this concrete and indisputable evidence, can you still harbour the harebrained idea that the "US prefer chaos and instability in countries of interest"? |

America hosted the Talibans in Texas in the reign bush srn, they organise, trained and armed the talibans against the russians, the issue of her(bhuto) supporting the taliban is just a matter of policies initiated by the major players like america and the rest of the monsters, america have no allies, they go for their interest whether you like it or not, they are super military power, not super philantropist or diplomatic power, especially with this present supremacist regime who thinks they are alexander the great or napoleons of the 21st century,it is in the blood, white man believe in conquest,i wonder when they will think diffrently and see the world as a place of peace not of war. The multi-trillion arm industry can not exist if they don't intend to cause confusion,it is all about money, technology, employement, contracts, name it,it is an extensive industry that can not operate without war and yet people are still for pepertrators. Religion is a tool use to cause the confusion, they are not religious, they are just hypocrists, playing with the simple minds.Coporations like world bank, imf, federal reserves and the rest of those reptileans bodies are all set up to run and sponsor wars, to keep the money spinning while the masses suffer,an average american who is able to buy a house or car and pay motgage all his life will think he is doing great, living in boundage, while the real players are pushing the money around and deciding the faith of commoners who in most cases blindly follows. It is all about what is set to be,tradition, that can be changed if the masses stop playing the fool.People have been controlling the new world affairs for over 2000 years, from the romans emperors to the pope,to the templers, down to the present aryans, same ball game of the awares and unawares. |

I think the woman knew she was going to die eventually. She recieved more than enough warning from them bombers and still continued her rallies. Maybe she wanted to be remembered as a matyr for her country just like her father. she knew she would die. the question was "when". and the "when" is what has happened now. |
Re: Benazir Bhutto Former Pakistani Prime Minister Is Dead by Albato(m): 4:59pm On Dec 28, 2007 |
r_o_b_b_y:I agree with you. She had a death wish. It was bound to happen. She threw caution to the winds. Its as if she wanted to enter the matyr hall of fame by all means. Like I said before, Musharaf now has a free run. I read on yahoo she's just been buried amid widespread rioting. |

Re: Benazir Bhutto Former Pakistani Prime Minister Is Dead by Uche2nna(m): 9:39pm On Dec 28, 2007 |
I saw a post that claimed al-qaeda took responsiblity for the assasination Still trying to find the source? All I can come up with was the interior minister blaming al-qaeda for the killing The government was quick to point fingers @ al- qaida but it seems the Pakistani people are not fooled. They are laying it @ the doorstep of the US backed Musharraf led government. The plot to kill the poor woman started to take shape when she agreed to come out of exile |
Re: Benazir Bhutto Former Pakistani Prime Minister Is Dead by Besteric(m): 11:21pm On Dec 28, 2007 |
Guys, wake up from sleep:::: islamic fundamentalists had not been so active when Bhutto was Pm,,, Now they have Killed her ot maybe her Enemies,,, Stop blaming Musharaf, he did nt kill Bhutto, Stop blaming America, she was nt killed by CIA, stop blaming America for every little crap on the planet. I remember one woman blaming america and dollars for de scarcity of Tomatoes while i was in school instead of blaming Youths left the village in search of wealth in Lagos, thereby reducing the workforce |
Re: Benazir Bhutto Former Pakistani Prime Minister Is Dead by Uche2nna(m): 11:40pm On Dec 28, 2007 |
As long as America remains meddlesome, they will always be the prime suspect in most clandestine activities. It is not as if there is a lack of antecedents backing that. The pakistani people are the ones blaming Musharaf while the Government is quick in laying the blame on al-qaida. Al-aqaida to my knowledge has not owned up ( ) , something they are fond of doing. That raises a red flag for me. Now what makes U absolutely sure that the Pakistani people are wrong and that U are rite? |

If Al Queda has denied it then who is it? Does it really matter, another person seeking democracy is cut down maybe it wasn't meant to be for some people |
