I suggest you use a bigger phone(symbian, bb, android etc] or a laptop. It doesn't always go in a small phone due to their memory deficiency.

Gmail is just another service that provides this means of exchanging messages. Consider GMail the brand name just like YahooMail. (Or synonymously, take GSM for example and with MTN/GLO as service providers)
