I'm considering moving to Austria to pursue my career study in Comp Science as a degree seeking student. I will gladly appreciate any vital information as to list of low tuition fee Austrian Uni offering Bachelor program in Computer Science.

# What is the admission application procedure?

# What are the necessary procedures to applying for a student visa and residence permit?

# Any possibilities of working part time while studying in Austria as an international students?

# What is the monthly cost of living like for an average international student there in Austria?

# What cost budget would you suggest from the starting point 2 final stage of flying to Austria?

Nairalanders who are studying in Austria, please kindly come to my aid.

@timmy1999;
Thank you for the tip, I already heard most of those from someone before, in fact he just went there few months ago too, the only thing I needed to get right is whether I will be needing both a Nigeria and Austrian bank account for the process of documents legalization as the guy had mentioned to me, it would have been a lot more easier if I were in the country, but I want to know every detailed info as to all the procedures and every cost load down since I will be sending my elder brother to get most of the things done for me, and you can tell how hard it would be, moving from Lagos to Abuja every time, he has his own work and family too, so I just want to know everything so I don't have to stress him so much about it. As regarding the tuition fee, I think it's 363.68Euro per month, I already chat with an Austrian guy from the same school I had wanted to enrol for my Bsc degree and he already got me abreast of the cost of living there, but the how of getting part time job as an international student is still unknown to me,some people said, it's easy while others said it's not. Moreover, in which school is your friend? How did he get the admission from the school? Did he send his documents to the school directly after legalization by the embassy or the embassy did that for him too? As regarding the cost, I know God will definitely supply that according to His riches in glory.

I will gladly appreciate more info, maybe you can help me to contact your friend to give the load down of every info, thank you!

Yea, I was equally told the place is sweet, but getting there is the only issue, is always the best with a good contact of someone who has gone through all these before, I believe in learning from other people's experience about things. I'm presently in India, I initially contacted someone who went there few months back too, he has given me some information, but he told me I will be needing a Nigeria bank account as well as Austria local bank account, that's where I got confused, asking him further questions he thought I was doubting him, I have tried to contact him, but he won't respond to any of my further questions, so I decided I needed to move on in my search for detailed information. I don't want to put my brother through so much stress of going places, when I was processing my visa to Asia I knew what the experiences were like, and dealing with the embassy could be a breathe taking and stressful most of the time, that's why I need detailed info as regarding the whole procedures involved so I don't have my brother stressed out considering the fact that he's gotten a job and family that also needed his attentions.

Moreover, which of the Universities in Austria is your friend studying? Sending documents to many schools would cost more for the legalisation and mail forwarding, but I'm sure it worth it as it's not good putting one's egg in one basket. Timmy, can we chat more better about this, we can chat some times on FB, or you can drop me your FB contact info, and we can talk more better, hope to read more from u soon, thanks.

That ur last comment was uncalled for, there is no kid here, I think we are all adults here and we shouldn't be deprived rights of sharing contacts with other members, mind you it's not a dating site, besides he's not acting being an agent or something, I needed firsthand info from olasdot and was meaning to talk him into discussing with his friend on my behalf so I could get the whole load down of every bit of info I needed as regarding the thread subject matter, please kindly let him see my email contact this time, Believe me in you, no one with any questionable character here, don't jump into quick conclusion about people's character just like that, that's so bad. Meanwhile, I appreciate your concern and effort towards making the travel section of NL scam free with co efforts from other moderators too, you are all appreciated.

@olasdot;

Please in which of the Austrian Uni was your friend admitted? If you are able to see my email contact this time, please kindly add me to your yahoo messenger contact, thank you.

I'm not here to rain any insult on anyone but I believe we are all matured enough differentiating the right from the left, I can see this whole thing is going beyond what I'd envisioned and it's cuz of ppl like you Nigerians are seen as wicked souls, if we can't respect ourselves, what impression are you then giving the foreigners about us,you don't just criticise or judge people just so quick, those who live in a glass house don't throw stone. I'm damn sure, you aren't a straight forward person yourself and would advise you pick the peck from your eyes first before you help others. Without your help or anyone's that won't stop me from traveling to Austria, what God has perfected is different from what he will have to deliberate on, without doubt you are not a person of repute and you fall my hand gan, big time. Mark my word fella.

Like I said, I'm not here to insult anyone, I believe we are all matured here, for good sake you are old enough to moderating a forum section. I know nothing about timmy1999 credibility of NL and thought as a good moderator I demanded an explanation as to why you don't want me to share my email contact with him. Nevertheless, like I earlier stated, ain't here to harm or hurt anyone and don't appreciate you being rude to a fellow NL,don't let small things enter your head and get you carried away easily.
