lorddannie: The payment of offerings and tithe has been an integral parts of biblical doctrines. Offerings come in various forms; covenant offering, seed offerings, first-fruits, heave, wave, offerings to support God's work, to support God's servants, for building of the church of God, to assist the less privilege, orphans widows etc. Christians do not give offerings to sponsor terrorism, extremists, religious bigots and fanatics or procure IEDs and ammunition. People give offering according to their abilities; Tithe may be 10% or more (Jesus accepted and commended an old woman for her offering; an old coin which was all she had), as the giver wishes to some give ALL, others old coin. So there no abuse, or force or compulsion in it. our jealousy maY be due to the abundance that results from there offerings, but bible acknowledge the fact that it would result in plenty(Malachi 3;1-10). Jesus has never spoken against offerings or tithes of whatever kind. The book of ACTs 4;33-37, ACTs 5;1-11, reported that people sold their lands and houses and gave the money to the missionary. Acts 5:4 specifically showed that there is no compulsion in giving offerings "...was the land yours before you sold it? after it was sold you could have done what you wanted to do with the money..." Even God have his only begotten sold, as a covenant offering. When God required Isaac from Abraham was it not his all? look at this jew! If you are a gentile you will not be quoting Jewish laws for Gentile christians. Infact you dont have anything to do with the understanding of the bible. Your greed has blinded you. |

lorddannie: contributing to the household of God does not stop one from giving voluntarily to people in need; the bible encourage it and Christians practice. No body tries to bribe God, Christians know that. Check my post above. Read Matthew 25:40-45 wrong application. Christian giving is voluntary, as their heart moved them. You dont fixed no money for no one |

lorddannie: Covenant offerings are not bribes to God for long live. but God sometimes feel compelled to do some uncommon things to givers. The case of Hezekiah is a classical one. God extended the life of Hezekiah because of his offerings and good works. See 2chronicles 31;2-12 and 2kings 20;1-6 then your god is wicked and partial. |

The top 20 richest and most successful people in the world are not Christians talk less of covenant partners, and they are all alive and in good health. some people would try to deceive you that they have hidden problems, but the question i ask is who dosent have troubles at one point or the other. Anyway i just thought i should point that out. If you wanna give to God please i beg you DO NOT give because you are expecting his protection, health or what have you, give because you love God and you appreciate what he has done for you. It is that time that he would move on your behalf. Remember God sees the heart and knows the intention behind every giving. I am going to use Solomon as an example. He dint give to God because he Needed him to Prolong his life, give him money, etc He gave because he wanted to worship God for making him complete the temple ( That was the intention) and that was y God visited him at night and blessed him. So please do not let any man of God deceive you Give because you love God and you appreciate him for who he is. You too imagine you were the President of Naija and two people came to offer you gifts, and u happen to know the intentions behind both offerings. One offered just because he wanted you to sign his contract papers and the other because he loved you and respected your position. Who would you Bless first ?? think about it cheers 1 Like |

When I asked God, He said there will be a new set and it will not be for ten years. He said “because those people were in covenant with you for ten years, I had no choice but to keep them alive for ten years” He said “You tied my hands”. So, Pastor Adeboye is saying that if those people were not in financial covenant with him for ten years, God would not have kept them alive for ten years” And he has the audacity to say that God said so !!!!! This is high level mind games playing on the widely held fear of death held by most Nigerians. God will never keep you alive just because you give money to your church. What if you had no money to give ? Will God allow you to die just because you did not give to Adeboye ?? Our Pastors are becoming more greedy than our demonic politicians by the day.
The link "covenant partners" now "mysteriously" leads you to the following message :- "Resource not found. Sorry, specified resource could not be found. It is possible it has been deleted. If you believe that this is due to a system error, please let us know and we will look into it." It is suspicious that out of the 19 different links at the bottom left of http://www.rccg.org/home.php only the "covenant partners" link now "mysteriously" leads you to the "Resource not found" page. You can fool some people some of the time but you can not fool all of the people all of the time as No one has a monopoly of wisdom or annointing. I am a christian but one who refuses to see any pastor as God or place them on a pedestal.I only follow whats in the bible and no matter a pastors rank, if what you are telling me is not biblical or I sense that you are a manipulative person who is trying to brainwash people I just switch off. In fact to avoid the opportunity of being manipulated to occur in the first place, I will not even go to any pastors church except I am fully convinced in my heart that God called him/her (although we have no proof that God called a lot of today's pastors as we were not there when God called them). The Nigerian Christian Populace have been so conned by so called charlartans whose wives and children are living the highlife thanks to the multipler effect of tithes and offerings which simply means that 10 Naira miltiplied by 100,000 regular givers every month equals 1,000,000 Naira monthly into the church coffers whilst 10 Naira miltiplied by just 100 regular givers every month equals 1,000 Naira hence these smart alec's marauding as pastors embark on a massive membership recruitment drive in order to increase their membership numbers in anticipation of this multiplier effect kicking in and swelling their bank accounts beyond their wildest dreams and beyond what they would have legitimately earned from their original professions in 99 lifetimes. Their ploy is to play on Nigerians :- Fear of Poverty Fear of Infertility Fear of Sickness Fear of being single Fear of Untimely death Fear of Witches and Wizards Fear of Going to Hell All they've got is a gift of the gab coupled with intense effort spent of watching and memorising the sermons/books of "Popular" American preachers and then regurgitating snippets of these to their long suffering, browbeaten, exhausted but "prosperity hunting" church members who after hustling Mon-Sat are so empty psychologically that they are willing to pay their gate fees (a.k.a tithes and offerings) to watch these masters of deceit (a.k.a Pastors) strut their stuff on stage every Sunday. As the Pastor has only been reading/watching videos all week in preparation for his Sunday "performance", he is obviously more invigorated and less tired that his mass of downtrodden followers who will gladly pay for the charlartan to give them a psychological boost which doesn't last past Noon on Monday leaving the addicted church member needing another fix on the next Sunday. Lets stop placing these Pastors on a pedestal. They are not and should not take the place of Jesus Christ in your mind. 2 Likes 1 Share |

If you’re writing a cheque, please write it in the name of The Redeemed Christian Church of God and then at the back, put ‘Covenant Partner’. Don’t write the cheque in Pastor E. A. Adeboye's name. What a crafty way of Adeboye justifying to himself his plan to convert for his own belly any cheque which mistakenly has his name as the payee. Ola Ola pounded yam What have these Pastors become They have become a menace to the Nigerian society. |

I am sad because I am just thinking to myself 'why I no do pastor work!!!!!!!!!!!!!' instead of wasting my time Monday to Friday going to some godamn office!! 1 Like |

Omo Alata: And tell me of a christian church where extortion is not the main but hiden objective? On a very short street in Lagos, you will see more than 10 churches all looking for mumus to extort money from. If it is all about worshipping God, why can't the churches on a street merge into one or two? And why are most churches personally owned and managed? To make them holy? |
