na chick @ op be na, na twitter and nairaland she go do na wink wink wink wink

Funny you said that because i dont even have a twitter acct. NL, maybe grin

But trust me, I'll use everything it has to offer. No sexism plz angry

@Moonraker/ 4ller

Yea, Moon is right about the lab-test-given-battery-longetivity.

Seems like you guys have difference experience on it.

My current HTC has a word doc and an ADOBE PDF application, does the GN have those functions?

Precisely what does the GN have that would entice a professional student or a career woman in the professional field?

no sexism intended, knew you would pick up on that. angry grin

i said that because i generally know moonraker to be a techy kinda person, he is likely to murder a phone battery much faster than you can .

you do not strike me as a person who would for example engage in a long session of Call of duty or Fifa 2012 on the phone, whilst running VNC and Skypeing at once cheesy or could you?

yes, adobe and word are covered, along with every productivity needs i can think of off-hand. bigger screen estate means more comfort with those too. plus it comes with a digitizer pen, so you can actually take notes like you using a pen to write, doodle etc! cool cool

dunno what you mean by student/career professional, maybe you ought to be specific as to your needs

btw what OS is HTC running?

The Note runs on Android OS and well, its awesome. Plus if your present phone is running Android too, then everything on it will run on the Note, and much better to BTW wink wink

Lord_Reed:

Well the Note's size should keep you from forgetting it because your hands will notice there's no Note (pun intended ℓ☺ℓ).

Lol, I guess.

@ileke, lmaooo, leave me jor. I got into the blackberry hype last year, got the 9900 and I regret my decision with a big fat passion. I had the phone stolen and I'm in a 24month contract with a sh1tty blackberry.

I'm being patient now and looking around then will get a proper phone(likely a note).

LOL Of course I don't play those sports games and stuff, but I do use a lot of applications when I'm bored.

I'm also a techy kind of person sha.

Professional like study guide applications and stuff like that. Wait. . . .if GN2 is an android, then that shouldn't even be a problem. Nevermind.

My HTC runs on android. Nowadays it's either Android or Apple, no one really uses windows anymore.

My needs change o. Never the same. I dont know everything that's out there, so I can't really say.

@kandii

Stolen? That sucks!!

Then i think based on everything you have said so far, it is safe to say that erm your choices

are btw the GN and the GN2. The GN is available now but some GN especially the one from AT&T still

runs gingerbread. While samsung has said that it will upgrade the GN to Ice cream sandwich (do your research),

The update date hasnt been decided. As for the GN2, It isnt available yet and God know when it will be available

in the USA (which i assume thats where you are). If you wait for the GN2, it would come with the latest software.

Of course depending on when it comes out, There might be a much newer version of android (Banana Muffin) grin grin grin

4llerbuntu dont judge me!!!

LOL Stop speaking in riddles grin

Ice cream sandwich, banana muffin, gingerbread? Help me out here.

Yea, I've decided between GN and GN2. If GN2 does not come out by Mid Oct, I'm buying GN for the hell of it.

but you get the general idea so thats the important thing here!!!

The international version is gonna be out by then, no doubt.

question is when is AT&T gonna release their own version?? Thats the Garri question!!!

Are you with At&t?

I'm going with any company with great service and cheap prices grin

I'm currently with T-Mobile and I might just sign another contract with them by next month.

When are new phones usually released?

Naaa!!! I m with Softbank and Docomo which isnt in the US.

however, The only way to get the GN is through AT&T. T-mobile are the

cheapest based on my very little roaming experience. The new phones for this

fall has already been announced by at&t. So based on past situations, We can see

the GN2 in december or early january... Now if you want to remain on T-mobile, you

can just buy a International version which would be like 6/700 dollars and stick the sim

into your phone, Problem solved!!!

T-mobile has GN.

The first picture of phone comparison I posted on this thread was from T-mobile.

And I'm guessing they'll get GN2 soon too.

Dec and Jan? Ehrmm I def dont have the patience for that. Too long.

Lord reed mentioned G N 2, why na? I'm not even done deciding and you got me in pieces.

I looked up the G N 2 release date and it's sometimes later this year, no specified date.

I'm worried that the G N 2 might come with unresolved, untested glitches since it's a new phone et al.

What do you guys think?

@Kandii/Queen

Wazzup with you two and blackberries? London thing tongue

Don't worry about GN2, you need a phone now so stick with the GN. As queensmith says, it's sexy! ℓ☺ℓ!
