Oga easimoni. When i loaded the earlier data u posted, the stocks came out like this: ABCTRANS ABCTRANS etc. In repititions. When i tried this currrent data it still came out like that, What do i do? Thanks for all the help |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by easimoni(m): 8:18pm On Feb 25, 2008 |
andico34: AGGGGHHHHHH! Another error! I copied the data from 2 sources and one puts a space after names while the other does not. I will fix and repost in ten minutes. Delete all your CSV files for each symbol and re-import what I'll repost. |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by SavvyLanre: 8:19pm On Feb 25, 2008 |
Easi - thanks man, i have been looking for 22feb data, as ZSL no gree update their own |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by easimoni(m): 8:28pm On Feb 25, 2008 |
SavvyLanre: Since ZSL no gree, I copied it from nsepro. Diff formats na im cause the chaos. Let's try again below. Most of you will have to clean out your CSV files. See how to do that below: In your windows explorer go to If you do that, download the pre-2008 data here and re-import that as well. I apologize again. The sofware is v sensitive to formats. I'll keep an eye out in the future.

@ EASI ET AL i am new here. greetings to the fellas in the house. i am having trouble loading aptistock big time. i have followed ur instuctions on page 1 but it gives giving me messages like "can't download file" or the like. what am i doing wrong. i downloaded the aptistock 1.12 version cuz the 1.13 was corrupt. pls help |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by easimoni(m): 1:11am On Feb 26, 2008 |
aktopgun: E be like say we go do conference call this weekend! Will email you. |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by SavvyLanre: 8:35pm On Feb 26, 2008 |
@Easi - me i was OK o , i checked format already. Do you have data for 25th? e be like say Zenith dey check us @Aktopgun - you would actually find aptistock better than nigeriansecurities, as you would be more in control. And can check prices, RSI, MACD etc on other days other than the current day as you would have on Nigeriansecurities. |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by Geees: 12:25am On Feb 27, 2008 |
Easi, Good morining, Please been trying to upload the data after installing aptistock. It gets to the end of the process but it just stops with a message import EOD DATA finished staying there for almost 20 mins b4 i exit it. Does it take so long to upload, I dont get any error messages too. I notice the Aptistock data downloader does not even begin to upload "fill in green" all through the 30 or so mins, Using version 1.13. Cheers |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by easimoni(m): 1:16am On Feb 27, 2008 |
Geees: Same thing happens in mine but then the analysis works 100% I just let it import for 20 miins then shut it down. Re-open and I'm good to go. A quirk with no consequences. SavvyLanre: Have to find a work-around for this ZSL issue. I can only do it once or twice a week. Too time consuming. Will post 25 - 27 tommorrow. |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by SavvyLanre: 3:06am On Feb 27, 2008 |
Easi - no stress yourself o, Thanks. BTW, ZSL is back with 26Feb available. |

@ Easimoni I have the data for Metastock: 2007 to date. Am thinking of pasting it here but one might confuse it for Aptistock data. What do you think? |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by easimoni(m): 8:08pm On Mar 03, 2008 |
Man Jiro: Go ahead. Just highlight it's for Metastock only in bold font! |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by ManJiro(m): 8:33pm On Mar 03, 2008 |

Easi - You suppose rest my brother, i would help you to load the weekly update henceforth for here, until that time, when the service is no longer needed. @manJiro - do you have a clean Sw of metastock, i no dey use that one - because na work laptop i dey use, and i know wan carry virus :-) |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by ManJiro(m): 7:15pm On Mar 04, 2008 |
SavvyLanre: The one Kosieboy uploaded into Megaupload is good: the only place you get the malware is when you first open the ziped folder. Avast Anti-vurus (free) detects it: tell avait to do nothing - ie do not allow the malware run. Once you have successfully uploaded the software, the malware will no longer be present. If you dont want to do this in your company laptop, you can extract the zip folder somewhere else. |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by edunope: 10:34am On Mar 05, 2008 |
easimoni: thank you easimoni you are a blessing to this generation. pls how can i upload this new data to my aptistock software. would't it overwrite the 2007 datas previously uploaded? |
Re: Technical Analysis Using Aptistock by ManJiro(m): 12:27pm On Mar 05, 2008 |
edunope: No. It will only add more days to the onces you already have if the stock symbols are the same and the dates are different. The sheets updated for 2008 has data of each addtional day added to it: the previous data still remains. So that any time you update your aptistock with Easimoni's sheet, it is actually wiping your former data out: but the former data is being replaced with the same data, so no wahala. It has a function where you can tell it not to replace former data, but it is applicable for the realtime/online update. |
