I was in my first year in the University when my room mate ran to the room exclaiming that US was under attacks. I was so scared I didnt watch the live transmission. My condolences go to the families of the victims. God will judge these terrorists |

I was at the Calabar Airport, arriving from Lagos when an international call came in, it was my cousin crying 'David, America is under attack.....' We rushed to the hotel and saw the various assault unfold. I became emotional when a CNN reporter talked about people falling from the WTC tower. It was horrible... |

I was in the library studying for an exam. The first thought that came to my mind was that the end of the world had come. I vividly recollected the propehecies of Nostradamus I had watched and read about earlier that year. I was so terrified. May the soul of the departed rest in peace. |

dekung: I saw the footage in Mariere Hall common room. Was in my final year then and I saw some muslim guys in the room jubilating and saying things like 'serves them well'. I was sad because beaarly a month before then I saw a documentary on how the towers were built, how much it cost, the level of man power and the time it took. Imagine! 'Jubilatin', 'serves dem right'. Dose guys r jus so pathetic! |

@OP what do you remember about 27 January 2002 Ikeja cantonment explosion and its aftermath that killed at least 1,100 people and displaced over 20,000, with many thousands injured and homeless  ? Hitherto no compensation has been paid to the victim’s family who are suffering, hungry and many still homeless. What do you even remember about Dana airline that went down 3 June 2012 killing all 153 passengers including the crew members? I bet you didn’t know that an average payout for each 9/11 victim’s family was $1.8 million. I bet you never knew there is the September 11th Victim compensation fund, an act created by the congress. I pardon you, because I know even President Jonathan doesn’t know, we really don’t care about our own and I am very sure the sycophant sent a message to the US president today while our own people are neglected, . I was home from school on holidays and was spending it at mu Uncle's place in Warri. Was fliiping channels when I saw d breaking news banner on CNN. My mouth was agape. I watched d second plane hit live...it was surreal, I had goose flesh all over. Needless to say, d whole fam hardly slept that night as my Uncle tried to call my cousin who had just moved to NYC dat year or so. |
